The Riverside Farm Escape is a family owned cattle farm situated on the picturesque Wang Wauk River in Minimbah, Mid North Coast NSW. Our well maintained, grassy campground and RV stop provides spectacular views of the Wang Wauk River, which flows into the magnificent Wallis Lakes. The Riverside property spans 103 acres of rich farmland and has over 500 meters of river frontage, ideal for kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing, with water access to Forster / Tuncurry. A gravel boat ramp provides easy access to Wang Wauk River ideal for small boats/tinnies. The property also boasts a beautiful dam, full of blooming lilies, a favourite for the kids to kayak and swim. Surrounding natural bushland is teeming with wildlife, including wallabies, kangaroos, lizards, and vibrant native bird species. Access: Suitable for 2WD and 4WD vehicles Site Options: Powered and non-powered sites available. Non powered sites on the River front, Lily Dam and Paddock Views. Fire Pits: Provided at all sites for cozy evenings under the stars Firewood: Conveniently available for purchase Pet-Friendly: Bring your furry friends (on-leash at all times) Please clean up after them. POWERED SITES
I had a motorhome and was located spot 14 which was next to the toilets not a lot of privacy and couldn’t have the back of the van doors open. `Besides that the place is amazing plenty of space lots of different sites available. The toilets get cleaned regularly during the day. Public should be more honest on paying for the facilities which are great. For those who pay thank you. Richard is always there cleaning them during the day on and off. Otherwise they should up the price and start charging everyone. Great place for your fur babies and please do the right thing on leash. Over Easter a group of people didn’t which was wrong just do the right thing and people are happy. Great for children lots to do. The scenery is great and I have recommended to other people to stay great outlook. Thank you Roslyn and Richard

Awesome group stay for Easter long weekend here at The Riverside Farm Escape! Lots of fun had exploring hidden tracks & slides, checking out the farm animals, fishing, kayaking and relaxing by the fire. Hosts Richard & Roslyn were great….our sites were at the end of the Riverside flat so we were away from other campers and had a great space for the group. We would definitely come back!

RIVERSIDE SITES
Our group of friends & family had an awesome time at The Riverside Farm Escape! We had a couple of sites at the end of the riverside flat and were far enough from other sites and campers that no one was bothered. The adult kids & little kids alike had fun exploring the little hidden tracks around and seeing the farm animals each afternoon. Fishing & kayaking in the river was also a big hit! Richard was a great host, responding quickly to any questions. All in all a great time and we’ll definitely be back!

Nice little campground on the river, we had a powered site sitting above river still in eyeshot for a good view, nice facilities, plenty for kids, soccer field, bike riding, walking tracks, kayaks. Plenty of space and not packed in, Richard went above and beyond to ensure guests were well locked after, approx 25 min drive to Blackhead beach for swimming and all day dog off leash beach which is helpful, totally recommend and look forward to coming back with a bigger group

I loved how spacious each allocated camp site was. We got to see lots of cows up close and some of the resident horses too! Toilets were clean and not a far walk away, we selected Lily Dams. We noticed others who selected riverside and close to the farm area had to walk further. Great wildlife around, we had a cockatoo walk up to say bye as we were leaving.

A Must Stay Farm Escape!!!!!

LILY DAM SITES
My family & I stayed at the Riverside Farm Escape over the long weekend, my husband, my 2 daughters, my mum & dad & my sister and brother in law. We had the best time, the property is amazing with so much to for old and young, we ride our e-bikes through the hills and down by the river, paddle boarded on the dam & my daughter spent a lot of time with all the animals. We had a camp fire at night and thoroughly enjoyed the slow mornings watching the fog over the paddocks. One of the things that did stand out to me was how friendly Richard and his family were. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I loved chatting to Jen and hearing all about the property and future endeavours. I will definitely return and highly recommend Riverside Farm Escape!!

The campsite was absolutely beautiful! My friends and I were right on the river, the site was kept lovely and clean and access was super easy. The surrounding land is stunning and easy enough to navigate. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We only stayed for 1 night. Beautiful location, very spacious camp sites. Easy access from the highway. The photos in the description of this location are a good indication of what is on offer. Richard was very friendly delivered us some firewood for the campfire. We will be returning again and I’d highly recommend this for a quiet peaceful getaway to anyone.

Nice and quiet property, Richard was very easy going and planned out occupancy of sites well so all groups had space and serenity. Clean and well kept sites. Cold shower was surprisingly refreshing and not as cold as we expected for an Autumn weekend.

We loved camping here. Beautiful flat grassy area to set up, right on the river bank and listen to the fish jumping and all the birds. Can imagine it would be great spot if you were into fishing. Toilets were clean and a short walk from our camp down the bottom. Easy to get to and would definitely stay again if we are on our up the coast.

Absolutely beautiful spot. Plenty of room, clean amenities and so much space for the kids. The lily dam is just gorgeous and provided hours of fun for the kids. Really appreciate the free use of kayaks. Great host! Highly recommend 😊
