RIVERSIDE SITES
Very large campsites and well maintained grounds. Lily Dam is beautiful and the river is gorgeous early in the morning, both were lovely for a paddle and dip. Toilets and shower are centrally located and very clean. You have to walk up a short steep hill from the river sites to get to them, but it only took 1 minute from our tent. Cold shower was good but price per night is expensive. Hosts are very responsive and happy to help. Asked Richard at 4pm if we could grab some firewood for the night, he had it cut and delivered to our campsite within the hour while we had the dogs in the river for a swim. Beware other campers. Many had dogs off-lead and refused to pick up their dog shit. We had one run through our campsite knocking over chairs almost into our fire. It is extremely difficult for hosts to control this poor behaviour, so please respect the hosts and other campers, do the right thing. All in all a great campground and better than any RV park.
