The Nile 1
A magical stay!
What an amazing property! Jacob was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. There were a few other campers on the night we stayed, but everyone had their own spaces and it was easy to feel that you were the only ones there. The views of the surrounding cliffs were fantastic - I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Spacious campground.
Great hosts, nice spacious campsite. The spa was bliss even on a hot afternoon. Twice we went out for the day and it stormed. On one occasion the nearest campers (who were over 100m away) came and shut up our tent, the next day Jacobs wife did the same for us. Thanks again guys.

The Nile 2
Jacob and his family are very lovely and welcoming, was great to learn about the way they live offgrid and provide support to everybody who stays on there farm, they made us feel like it was home for 6 nights, the clear night sky’s with the Milky Way showing off was just a stunning way to relax around a camp fire, I will definitely be back 👌🏽

My stay at the Nile Off-Grid Farm was incredible! The views were stunning, and waking up to Upper Nile's beauty was unforgettable. Jacob was an amazing host—friendly, attentive, and passionate about his farm. It’s the perfect spot to disconnect and enjoy nature. Highly recommend!

The Nile 1
No shade or level ground
Can’t fault the host’s hospitality. One of the nicest blokes you’ll meet anywhere. However, the camp itself has zero level ground with shade. It’s a huge property with plenty of space to get away from other campers, but wherever you are you’re in the searing hot sun unless you’re happy to be on a significant slope. Level ground and shade are essential ingredients for an enjoyable camping experience. Rather than novelty features like a bathtub in the middle of the bush or communal spa on a hill, I would rather flat ground and shade.

The Nile 1
Fantastic stay
We had a great time at The Nile 1. The owners were very welcoming towards myself, my partner and our dog. They went out of their way to jumpstart my car when the battery died. The national park boarding the property had amazing views. The place was peaceful and quiet and we had access to a toilet, warm shower and other amenities. Would 100% recommend
