Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
A family owned, rural property covering 40 acres nestled at the bottom of Round Hill, just a 5 minute drive from Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains region. Predominantly a flat block with the backdrop of snow gumtrees, mountains and the rugged Alpine outback with roaming native wildlife. A shared toilet, laundry and shower block allows guests to rinse off - warmly after their days adventures. An abundance of outdoor activities are near by including skiing, snow touring, snowboarding at popular ski resorts Thredbo, Perisher and Charlotte Pass located just 30 minutes from the cabin. In the warmer months guests can enjoy mountain biking, hiking and swimming in NSW National Park Kosciusko National Park. Rise to the fresh Alpine air, look out to the kangaroos grazing, and enjoy the stillness while you bask in the natural rugged surrounds that wrap the rural property. Wind down from a day around your own fire pit watching the sunset from your abode.

Meadows self contained site
Not worth it
Overpriced for what's on offer. Had hoped for a meadow but landed close to others & empty weekenders.

Meadows unpowered site 2
Good space, clean toilets, lots of kangaroos visiting in the mornings and evenings. There are so permanent caravans close by so not entirely private but the site was large and spacious enough that it still had a good feel. Property was beautiful with lots of lavender flowers in bloom! So close to Jindabyne!

Meadows unpowered site 2
Pretty underwhelming
No directions provided. No greeting on arrival. Tried calling Sarah and never got an answer, never heard back and never met her. Had absolutely no idea where to go with no directions provided in the booking confirmation. Minimal (hard to find) signage on the property (always skeptical/ respectful about driving onto someone's property without directions). I asked some random people onsite where to go who managed to point me in maybe the right direction (there were rocks in the site entry next to the site number making it difficult to get in, and unsure if it was the right spot because no one came over to instruct). The camp itself was tiny, with a caravan right ontop of the site, and another camper right behind maybe 10 metres away in a van. Had no idea if the caravan was going to be occupied which made it uncomfortable. People were sawing with power tools and hammering (looked like building a caravan house) only 20 metres away making it hardly enjoyable. It was nice to have a shower, toilet and water. I felt very uncomfortable and crammed in and decided not to spend the second night and booked somewhere else. If you're looking for just a spot to pull up with a toilet and shower close to town then this is great, but not what I personally thought would be the experience given the photos and description. It felt like the back of a free camp pub site. It's not for me and I wouldn't return, but each to their own. Wishing you guys all the best.

Meadows powered site 1
We had a nice stay on Sarah's property. The proximity to Jindabyne is so convenient, only a 5 minute drive into the town and super close to Kosci National Park. There were flush toilets, hot showers and laundry! Campers should note that The Meadows is a mix of a few Hipcamp sites and more permanent dwellings (cabins and RVs) for seasonal workers, so you're sharing a space with others.

Common Kosci
Sweet Spot - Great Stay
Loved our stay at Common Kosci - the cabin is exceptional: built to a very high standard, well appointed, spacious, and very comfortable with some lovely, quality touches. There is something wonderful to see from every window: the light, sounds, scene flow in throughout the day to delight the senses and it's vantage makes the best of the beautiful environment. We had everything we needed to cook a few wonderful meals and relax. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the deck at night watching the stars and the indulgent luxury of the outdoor shower. The cabin sits on a common and there are number of other small cabins/camp sites as you approach the bespoke cabin - it is at the farthest reach of the common so you have a sense of total privacy once there. Close enough to town to duck in for a coffee if you're desperate. Sarah is a generous and accommodating host - getting there was very straightforward, getting in and out was made easy, and we really appreciated the great advice about local walks to take.
