Pitstop in Port Stephens
I would only recommend this spot if you’re just staying for the night. It’s not ideal for a camping trip. It’s essentially on the side of the road, unless you park as far down to the gate as possible such as we did (although that’s still not far from the house next door). Lots of people were also working there so it wasn’t very private. It just depends what you’re looking for - if it’s a pit stop then sure, it’s beautiful on one side and then you turn around and it’s a house and a road. Host was also quite blunt when I asked a question.

Overall we had a nice experience, but it is overpriced. So just for a last minute decision.

Can find better.
It is the same as if you were parked in the street, only the difference is that here you can do so as you are on private property. The place is far away from everything. I have been travelling by camper van for several years and I honestly don't recommend it, for the same price you can find better.

The host was lovely, really nice quiet spot and so good that you can light a fire. We really enjoyed our time here as it is very central to everything, would 100% come back here if we went to port Stephen’s again.
