Welcome to the Blue Lagoon, our very own piece of paradise, we cannot wait to share with you. Situated on over 100 acres in Upper Orara, just 20 minutes west of Coffs Harbour. The beauty of this place is that it's a private campsite, this stunning waterhole is all yours to enjoy, with only one booking taken at a time. (Note: The booking is for 2 people for the entire site- then a small extra charge for additional guests) This magical waterhole has crystal clear spring-fed water, where you’ll be able to enjoy spotting fish, turtles, and a platypus along with stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, bird watching, bushwalking, and simply relaxing. IMPORTANT: The camp is for self-contained campers only. You MUST have your own toilet, water and take all waste with you when you go. This is non-negotiable. The nearest dump point is in Coffs Harbour. PLEASE NOTE: The property lies on river frontage and is subject to flooding in heavy rain. Please check in with us 3 days prior to arrival to confirm conditions. In the case of flooding, a full refund will be issued, or an alternate campsite on higher ground may be available. The photos display pristine blue waters, which is what is so magical about this place. However after heavy rain, the water colour can change in appearance. Campfires are permitted in the designated fire ring, when local restrictions are not in place. FIREWOOD is available to purchase. BBQ LAMB packages are also available to purchase. Please note - We are not a commercial campground.Enjoy having your own private waterhole to setup your caravan, camper trailer or tents, with water views of the blue lagoon. Activities include- Swimming in the crystal clear water, go fishing for freshwater fish, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, and swinging over the water. Enjoy the nature and go for a bushwalk, spot the wildlife- deers, platypus, fish, turtles and birds. We have no amenities on site. Please note - you absolutely must have your own camp toilet and supplies with you. There are no facilities here. We strictly forbid using the land as a toilet. Please help us keep this special place pristine. All waste must be taken with you on departure. The nearest dump point is in Coffs Harbour. The property lies on river frontage and is subject to flooding in heavy rain. In the case of flooding, a full refund will be issued, or an alternate campsite on higher ground maybe available. There is no fences to the waterhole, you must supervise your children at all times!

Absolutely magical stay at Blue Lag

The Blue Lagoon
We had such an incredible time here, it was our own private paradise. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the crystal-clear water was even better than the photos. There was so much space! The hosts provided everything we could need for fun and relaxation: canoes, floats, a stand-up paddleboard, a rope swing, hammock, and more. We caught fish, spotted turtles, chilled by the fire and spent hours just enjoying the peaceful beauty of the place. The hosts were really lovely! We got to purchase meat from the family farm. We didn’t want to leave, and we’ll definitely be back. Couldn’t recommend it more!!

We loved our stay here! Laura was a great host! Highly recommend trying some of their lamb was super delicious! We had lots of rain during our stay but was still sooo beautiful. Great swimming spot and very spacious! Thanks for having us :)

Australia’s best swimming hole. Came out here to film for my @terrain.scout project and was blown away. Hosts are legends, camp is epic. Don’t let the price deter you. Absolutely unbelievable. If I haven’t booked out the calendar forever with the video… I will be back. Thanks again Team 🍻

The Blue Lagoon
The Blue Lagoon is amazing! Heaven on Earth is how I would describe it. Apart from the amazing water and scenery surrounding this camp ground we loved the fact that you have it all to yourself. Laura was so helpful and accommodating, we can’t thank her enough. Can’t wait to return later in the year. Thank you for having us stay at this Paradise Laura.

This is our second stay at the Blue Lagoon and once again it has not disappointed. Absolutely magical and so soul reviving. As before, Laura was the perfect host. We cannot wait for our next stay. Thank you again for sharing this little piece of paradise with us.
