We had a lovely weekend woth our toddler and dog. A small campsite with beautifully styled amenities. The host was very responsive and the location is just far enough out of town to feel relaxing but close enough to get a meal/coffee etc.

This campsite in the orchards was such a lovely surprise. It’s right off the roadside but has a feel of calm about it. We had it all to ourselves and it was lovely to watch the sunset over the dam. Facilities were totally adequate and cosy.

Excellent camping space with a cute little Dance hall on site. The bathrooms were really rustic with lounges and great little vibe. They were clean, plenty of loo paper, hot water with plenty of pressure.
We loved walking up through the apple trees, swimming in the chilly dam and sitting around the fire pit for sundown and into the night.
Beautiful sky of stars on a clear night, not many cars passed by on the road which is fairly close.
Excellent location to visit vineyards, lake Canobolas and quick trip into Orange.
Would definitely stay again.
Loved the visits from Sunny the dog who just wanted to play.

The site was ok but there was no signage to help locate it and we had to call in on a neighbour to locate it. The toilet and shower facilities were poor - not well maintained and not clean with no hot water. This site could be so much better.

I absolutely loved our stay at this site. It had everything you would want great amenities and great camping location. Huge bonus was the owners of the property’s dog Sunny would come say hello if you liked. Personally it was a highlight of the trip will be going back to see Sunny.

Hi, despite the nice pictures there was no camping amongst trees but only an open gravel parking lot to camp in. We arrived on a day that there was quite some wind so not very nice.
The kitchen was occupied by other campers staying there with pots/dishes all over the sink/bench looking like it was their private kitchen. We descide not to camp there and booked another spot at the local camp ground in Orange with better shelter and clear communal facilities.

Stayed 1 night. Stunning view of pond. Spacious and flat camping site. There was party at night during my stay at the dancing hall, but I could use clean toilet and hot shower available. It's much easier to find the location to google "Canobolas Dance Hall" if you use google map.

Fantastic place to stop on our way to Dubbo with the kids. Fiona was very accommodating.
Power and water with amenities.
We only stayed one night, lake Canobolas was a great place to spend the day with the kids riding etc. there is also a playground and cafe there.

Great spot however hard to find .Lovely area and the apple orchard was a new experience, very disappointed with amenities, the shower door was locked so we couldn't access ,the toilets were dirty and looked like there had been a party the night before as the place was dirty and glasses everywhere ,we wanted to stay 2 nights but no reply ,lucky we didn't book as it was very expensive for this site

We had an amazing 4 night stay at the Apple Orchard and were lucky to have the place to ourselves. Its great for those with caravans as it has compacted gravel sites along with power and water connections. There is also the attached bathroom facilities which were neat, tidy and very well kept. The booking process was simple and smooth and we will definitely come back.

We loved our stay in The Apple Orchard. It is a beautiful spot next to a big dam. We had easy access to power and a fire pit and the amenities are very comfy too. Proximity to the centre of Orange is great as well as the many attractions of the district. We would definitely visit again.

Camping here was an amazing experience surrounded by the orchards and dam. The setup is perfect for camping in a tent, swags or a camper as there is different ground to setup on to suit your kit. Everything was as described and the sunset is better than expected.

We had a wonderful 3 days at the Apple Orchard. We set up our caravan by the big dam and our dogs loved the freedom and watching the ducks. Everything was laid on for us. Electricity and good showers and toilets. We will definitely come to the Orchard again

What a beautiful spot to camp! The dam is just lovely and the amenities building was a saving grace on a very windy and rainy weekend! There was no hot water when we arrived but one message to Fiona and the gas can was changed! As others have mentioned there is a beautiful old dance hall on the property. It was used for a small event on one night of our stay but didn’t worry us at all. Thank you for a wonderful place to camp.

Great shower facilities and ground. Hosts were very responsive of all questions.
Only thing I would say is there wasn't great shelter from the wind and we had to buy a portable fire pit as there was only one large one available which wasn't near the campsites.
Would definitely go back with a bigger group in summer
