Lake View at Tall Timbers Retreat
Owners seemed lovely so I'm sorry for what I'm about to say.. the march flies were insane we could barely sit outside, huge bull ants all over our outside mat, pulled a tick off my daughter in the first hour, the lovely shed area photographed to sit in was just full of leaves and abandoned looking, the shower was just a bucket of water full of mosquito larvae, rooster started about 3am. Sorry but this camp should be at least half the price, wouldn't recommend or stay again :((

Lake View at Tall Timbers Retreat
A beautiful, still and quiet place to let go and connect with nature. Kangaroos, gorgeous towering gums and the reflections in the lake all add to the sense of well being. Walking through the forest also feels very connected. The grounds are well kept with the bonus of a bush shower and washing up area. We also appreciated being able to purchase some free range eggs from their chooks. Owners are very kind and generous and respect your privacy. Highly recommended.

Nice quiet location, but cockerels crowing could annoy some in the early hours. Camping areas are small and become cramped, and if more than 6 occupants, the only room left is far from level. Rudimentary toilet and shower not especially good. Maybe better to not provide them ... or improve them.
For a Hipcamps site though, the price was good

Beautiful quiet spot. All the necessary amenities, fire Pit with free fire wood, hot shower, compostable toilet and place to clean your dishes. Will definitely stay again if in the area. Traci was very welcoming.

Nice quiet camp site, small but not too busy, free fire wood stocked each day was a plus. Facilities basic but clean. Hosts very easy going. Awesome star gazing and view over the lake and tree tops. Very relaxing.

Great location on a beautiful property. Friendly and helpful hosts. The amenities and firewood provided made camping breezy. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent ect as there were a lot of mozzies!

Tall Trees is a lovely place, unfortunately it rained when we were there and we couldn’t have a fire which would’ve helped with the mosquitoes and March flies. Would stay there again but with firewood and aeroguard

Lovely and quiet but be careful of ticks. Lots of mozzies in the evening. Basic facilities with the compost toilet and gas shower.

Lovely elevated camp site on the side of a hill over looking the property. Level sites, plenty of shade in the afternoon from the trees.

We stayed in the comfy cabin and were so stoked to stay there! Bedding, towels and firewood were all provided, it was the perfect place to stay after a hard day's cycling!
