Ettamogah Pub Camping
A great area to stop with clean toilets and hot showers. The field is very spacious and flat. The Ettamogah Pub has some interesting things to look at.

Run down, dirty facilities
Camping field was nice however farmer next door noisy and at one point was burying dead animals next to fence!. Outdoor toilets in a filthy state, covered with cobwebs & dead insects, waste bins overflowing, dirty sinks & no soap in dispenser. . Showers also full of cobwebs and no hot water. Food & service in main bar was ok. We asked for wifi code but were told they don’t give it out. Apart from main bar, premises looked tired & run down. Won’t return.

Nothing quite like the Ettamogah!
Awesome! Spacious camping space and the pub food is great. Customer service is excellent and the highlight being the Ettamogah Pub grounds. Will definitely stay here again when passing through.

The camping was good, and the proximity with the pub was fantastic for us. We just were a little surprised to see that for the pub's consumers (which we were) the camping was in fact free, but not for us as we already booked it on hipcamp. Next time, we will simply drive their without booking beforehand.

Great food, would stay again!
Stopped and camped on the way back to Melbourne, the food was great, the camp site was large and quiet. Sleeping under the stars was beautiful. I saw someone complain about the communal showers- I don’t know why. You DONT have to shower with anyone else - a deadbolt snib lock keeps you secure - the water pressure in the shower was amazing- had a lovely long hot shower / which was perfect after a long day of travelling. My travelling companion hasn’t stopped raving about the meal we had. The parma and schnitzel was cooked to perfection. Probably the juiciest most tender cooked chicken I’ve eaten. Went for a swim in the Hume weir which was a few minutes away / beautiful place, warm water. Only downfall was it was very hot and there were a lot of bugs after we turned the lights on. Bring bug spray - and enjoy your stay! Would stay again for sure!

Simple and easy no frills campsite
Clean clear grassy space. Not crowded. The pub dinner was ok, and a welcome break from camp cooking. Basic toilet and shower. Shower charge is $5. An easy spot to stop on a long trip.

It’s a FREE CAMP ! DON’T BOOK…and don’t pay.
The area was good.
We ate in the restaurant, the food was very delicious.
The toilets aren’t clean and the showers couldn’t be lock, there are collective…
If it was free, it could be good but I payed…

It was okay
When i arrived they did not know I had a booking, and we set up where they said to for a powered site. When I set up and put the children to bed, I realised that the powered site was broken and when my partner went up, they knew. So no sign. They tried to rectify it but offering their fridge or to use another powered site but the children who are under 2 were asleep. When returned to put out car to a different powered site, the place was closed and in the morning at opening time there was no one around. A bit of a let down, especially since we paid.

A great stay
What a great place to stay overnight. There was plenty of space on their oval campground and the shower was hot and the food was great and generous. Amazing fun themed quirky pub but what stood out the most was the great service.

Ideal for a one night stopover. If we were to make recommendations it would be on the ablution facilities; having 3 showers in a single area with no partitioning is not optimal- putting up inexpensive dividers would make a huge difference.
Having a pub and food right there made for a good change.

Plenty of room to park up car and van, only stayed overnight, had the obligatory meal, which i will give 6/10, beer was cold, people were friendly, overall rating, 8/10.

Our stay was great. Very quiet and restful sleep. We had some lovely craft beers on tap, then enjoyed a beautiful meal next door. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

Easy overnight stop over
Quirky place, kids loved it. Easy overnight stay on our way through. We just pulled van up on grass out the back oval, and didn’t have to unhitch. Drove off the next morning easily. Pub meal is in next door building, not in the actual cartoon looking pub (that didn’t bother us, not what we were there for). Staff were very friendly and our kids had fun exploring the grounds and a swing at the small playground. Perfect for what we needed which was just a stop over.

Great stay for overnight camping
We had a great one night stay at the oval camping next to the pub. Facilities were good , little Playpark for kids and loads of interesting stuff to explore around the pub made it enjoyable also for our 7 year old. I would definitely recommend for a stay if you are doing a longer drive and need a place to spend the night.

We booked there only because of the pub to find out it’s only open weekends and only for lunch til 2pm. It’s run down but the shower were nice and hot. The camping is free as long as you buy a meal we weren’t told that, paid the $25 for camping even tho we purchased meals. It was still cheap there would drinks and food. For an over nighter I would stop again.
