Site for which we had was absolutely amazing. It was on the lake and could hear the soft dappling of the tide at night time. The site was very well prepared, and a great pit fire with a grill which we used to cook. The view is absolutely stunning and the wildlife sounds are so relaxing.
The highlight though has been Sally who has been amazingly communicative and generous about using her vegetable garden. Sally is a very lovely soul.
We would never have known that there was a place like this in the world unless we booked through Hipcamp. And there is an amazing drive down Black fellows Road through an amazing beach side of Woodland… Four-wheel-drive only!
This is our first time here it won’t be our last.

Sally was a wonderful host. We had site 6 great spot for a caravan right on the water good fishing spot right from your front door ,catching flathead and bream. The bonus is the visits from Coco the border collie beautiful girl. Hope to get back

Firstly Sally the host is so helpful & responds to all your questions is very knowledgeable of the area & recommended places for us to visit
Also offered us veggies from her garden & for a small fee delivered wood to us as we were getting low
Property is amazing hubby & I spent 6 nights on site 5 although we had booked site 2 Sally was very accommodating with letting us change our spot
Bonus we had great weather warmer days & nights sitting by the fire (pit provided) star gazing with the most amazing Sunsets to be seen
Highly recommend & definitely is a property you should camp 🏕️ at

We camped with a 15' Sirocco van, on a large grassy area between stands of gum trees just below the front gate. It has a slope and is a bit rough but after trialling some spots we managed to get level. View of the lake was lovely and no other camps within sight so our 3 dogs could run free around us. There is a cottage about 50m away but the resident wasn't home when we stayed. Just enough sun to keep the solar charged. Sally and her dog were very friendly. 15 minutes drive to an off leash beach, which was empty. On the last day, our young dog spotted a snake and went to play with it, the biggest black snake I have ever seen. I normally enjoy seeing snakes but this encounter sent us rushing to Moruya vets with 2 dogs, luckily neither appear to have been bitten. The grass had been mown but the snake was still invisible to my eye until the dogs took chase. I know snakes are always around, we should have been more vigilant. Sunset from the other side of the ridge was stunning, over the water. About 2 min walk from our site

Beautiful spot on the lakefront, super friendly, responsive and helpful host. Quiet and spacious spot. You feel miles from anywhere, but are just a few minutes drive from the highway.

We had two great nights at Sunset Point which is picture perfect and just how nature holidays should be. Sally was super accommodating by letting us switch camp sites to the eastern side from the western side which was blowing up a very chilly SW wind.

We planned our whole trip to this area based around this camp site and it did not fail to deliver! An absolutely beautiful spot, so peaceful and quiet next to the water.
We stayed at site 4, which we just loved and would highly recommend booking this one, if it’s available. We had such a perfect night sitting by the campfire and star gazing all night long.
Sally is an amazing host, incredibly communicative and friendly. It was lovely she stopped by to check in on us, she is the icing on the cake!
It’s only a 10-15 minute drive into Bodall, which has everything you will need. Highly recommend checking out the brewery, great owners and great beers. Also they are dog friendly, which is handy as unfortunately the pub isn’t.
All in all it’s a fantastic spot and we couldn’t recommend it any more.
We’ll be back in the future 100%.

What a beautiful place, and such a beautiful host as well. Our trip did not go to plan with car trouble but thankfully Sally was so very helpful and accommodating. We can not wait to go back and really explore this beautiful area. Thank you Sally and Coco for having us.

Sally is a fantastic host. The spot is brilliant. Doesn’t matter which campsite you choose they are all water front and well taken care of. Amazing we could take the dogs aswell. Proximity to the beach down the road is great too. Definitely will be returning!

Site 1 Serengeti Sunrise
The directions to Sunset Point were really clear and there were small signs along the road to assist. Sally was very welcoming and is so lovely and friendly, offering us veggies from her garden. The Serengeti Sunrise camp site has such an amazing view of Lake Borang located on a sloped grassy paddock. We were able to set up our large van down near the camp fire as this was best for levelling. You can use the camp fire there or if you have your own. Sally can also deliver a wheelbarrow of firewood for a small cost. It was so nice just sitting looking at the lake and watching the fish jump out at dusk. The cicadas were super loud but fun to watch the kookaburras picking them off. Unfortunately the weather turned whilst there and we had a lot of rain, I mean a lot, torrential. If we realised there was going to be that much rain we probably would have vacated earlier as it was tricky to get our large 22ft caravan out up the sloped paddock. We managed to whilst the rain eased, and all was good.
I can highly recommend this camp site and we will definitely return here. It's so peaceful and just beautiful to watch the water.

We had a great time camped at Sals property! She is a fantastic host, great communication and met us on arrival to show us around. The site was great nice grassy patch, shady and direct river access.

Sally offers a few different sites that all provide privacy from one another and have lovely views of the river. Sally was very, very helpful with our booking process and is a thoughtful, warm and welcoming host.

The campsites offer great access to the waterfront and are quiet and private. Great place to set up camp to fish and explore the greater Tuross Lakes, would stay again.

Water access for the dog. Peace and quiet great to unwind. Bonus our friends caught 3 flatheads. Great instructions to get there, Sally welcoming to her vege patch, knowledgeable of shelter on windy weekend. Plenty of firewood to collect. Lovely to unwind.

The property is right along the water and easy to find. However, I suggest using Google Maps instead of Waze, as Waze directed us to a different property.
On site 1, there is plenty of open space, a beautiful view of the river, and easy access from the gate. There is a slight hill gradient on this site too. Sally was very kind and generous. I would recommend it!

We absolutely loved site 4 with amazing sunset views. Sally was so accommodating and thoughtful and due to strong winds we also enjoyed site 3 to avoid the westerlies and witnessed a great sunrise in the morning. We can highly recommend and will definitely be back as our favourite South Coast destination.

We had a peaceful weekend here after months of not camping. We thought this winter would be too cold but it was actually nice they provided a lot of firewood with the $20 package. Sal and Ben was very kind and generous offering us their vegetables on their garden for free. They’re always smiling greeting us. Take note there is no toilet in the campsite unless you go to town or bring your own. Lake was huge we saw some fishes jump. We also met their dog Koko who was very keen to play ball with us. We loved our stay here :)

Sal is so accommodating, friendly and will go the extra mile for her guests. We got in late Friday night and Sal kept a fire going in the fire pit for us. Very knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions on places to visit and eat. Our kids loved Coco. We will be back. Thank you Sal 😊
