Great location. Two separate amenities (toilet/shower) A little disappointing that we had to feed $2 coins to have a shower. Please put the requirement on your listing to have $2 coins on you prior to arrival, because if you are a camper as we were, you don't get a shower unless you get notes changed.

Decent camp site. Ideal for families with kids. Only down side was the cleanliness and availability of the amenities

Stoney Park Waterfront Camp Sites
Overall, it was a nice enough experience. We only stayed one night, as we were on a road trip heading towards Sydney. But to be quite honest, out of all places we camped in throughout the trip, Stoney Park was by far the worst one, due to the poor facilities. The camping area was way too far from the amenities block. The impression we had, was that the main concern was to provide a nice experience for those near the cabins or those who were paying to use the water park. The toilet block near the camping area was always dirty, without toilet paper replacement, nor cleaning checks (like the ones that happened in the amenities blocks near the office). The shower queue and waiting time was long, even though I decided to have a shower out of ‘peak hour’ due to the amount of people camping on that day. I just felt like it was not enough for the quantity of people using the facilities (ratio per person/shower or toilet was way too high to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience). The camping ground itself was great, but the overall experience was a little bit disappointing in my opinion.

Stoney creek stay unpowered camping
Nice spot to camp beside the water on grassy sites and kids had fun on the water park and swimming in lakes. Let down by the park booking far too many people in during holidays for the amount of amenities, in particular showers.
