Welcome to Stoney Creek Sanctuary on the Mid North Coast of NSW. We are a family farm with a leave no trace policy. We are co-creating a place for people to restore and connect to their health and wellbeing through farm fresh chemical free food, connection to nature and the nature within. Eco Consciousness is key. We have a community barn with lounge, dining, gallery and library for visitors to enjoy. We have BBQ area, kitchen sink and outdoor cold water shower, living grey water system, use our eco friendly wash products or please bring your own. We have compost toilets. 10 mins Bulahdelah, pristine Seal Rocks our nearest beach and we are very near to the Grandis, tallest tree in NSW. This is Worimi Country ~ We acknowledge and pay respect to the traditional custodians of the land upon which we now live, we pay respect to elders past, present and future and extend that respect to all Original Caretakers and the wisdom and knowledge they hold around the World. We're cradled in a valley and surrounded by national park with wildlife all around. We have a dedicated parking area for cars and walk in camping, for safety and ecological reasons we keep cars off camping fields. We do not host caravans on the property. Farm tours and workshops are available throughout the year. Fires are ok, unless there is a ban on, bring your own fire bin and wood. All funds raised from visitors go back into the land to continue to support our work here on the ground. We are working with Nature, and recognise the importance of observation and connection, and restorative practices that respect and regenerate the land. We are here to learn and share ways of living that are respectful of all life and the environment in which we live, work, rest and play. We are practicing the principles of Permaculture ~ No Dig ~ Crop and Drop in our Home Gardens/Food Forests and our Mandala Garden/Food forest. The need for food security and food sovereignty has never been more important, to have healthy, culturally appropriate food produced through ecologically sound and sustainable methods free from toxic chemicals is the key to human survival. Stoney Creek Sanctuary Camping
The campsite was nice. Not too crowded. Facilities were very handy for someone who does not own a lot of camping gear. We would come back here again.

Serene camping
This is a fantastic place that Mel and Steve have created. Beautiful, tranquil. A great harmony of gardens and natural surroundings. With all the amenities you need. Just a short drive to the best beaches in NSW.

Easter Weekend with kids
Mel and Steve are incredibly welcoming hosts. Steve met us and gave us a brief tour of their very well thought out facilities. A communal fire area, kitchen area, pit toilets and outdoor shower are free to use. The games room is generously packed with odds and ends for kids to play, and the whole vibe was very welcoming, relaxed and fun. Steve kept the fire going and the property is beautiful, well cared for with multiple spaces to enjoy together or privately. Two of our kids are nervous around dogs, but within hours they all fell in love with the dogs Dude and Snuggles, who are as friendly as their owners and very tolerant of multiple small children chasing, patting and otherwise bothering them. Highly recommend Steve and Mels place for anyone looking to stay in the area. Easy day trips to anywhere from Seal Rocks to Hawks Nest.

Relaxing and we'll maintained
Lovely well maintained location. Enough room that it was still semi-private despite being the Easter long weekend. Hot showers were great and the composting toilets were clean. Lots of books to read in the communal area and things to see all around the site. A great community vibe that would be perfect for families with young kids or couples on getaways, probably not for a rowdy bunch. Very close to buladelah if in need of supplies. Overall we had a great 3 days here and would highly recommend, the hosts were also lovely.

Such a beautiful space!
Melanie's property is a beautiful and welcoming space. Melanie and her partner greeted us upon arrival and were very accommodating. They gave us a tour of their property and made us feel at home. It was very peaceful! They have a large communal area that has so much to do! Their community barn has books to read, games to play and best of all, the property has lots of space to play and explore. I would recommend Stoney Creek Sanctuary to anyone in the area, especially if you have young kids!
