Stoney Creek is on 70 acres, in the middle of the national park, and offers campers a beautiful mixture of rainforested areas and clear grassed paddocks, just 1 hour from Newcastle. It's very peaceful here, with options for bushwalking and birdwatching. Creeks run through the property, providing some lovely areas to explore. Stoney Creek is also the closest property to the famous Grandis - the biggest tree in NSW! There are portable toilet facilities available. Large swimming lagoon for the kids - please just ensure they are supervised around the dam at all times. Dogs welcome. PLEASE recycle and use bins provided. Cabin area out of bounds ATM due to worksite. 2 vehicles per site, if you have 3 vehicles you need to book another campsite.campgrounds with options for sunny or shady sites, suitable for swags, tents, caravans, motorhomes etc. All types of camping set ups! PLEASE use the bins marked! Helpful Hosts are available to provide local knowledge and info on the area. The area is very quiet, with plenty of space to find your own private nook, which you are welcome to choose on arrival.

Lovely campsite
Beautiful location, surrounded by bush and singing cicadas. Knowles came and met us in the morning for a friendly yarn. Would recommend.

Stoney Creek Camping
Okay for a quick stopover sleep. You can hear the Highway from the site and the facilities were dirty and in need of maintenance. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Stoney Creek Camping
A beautiful property in an amazing rainforest. Knowla is a fantastic host, friendly, helpful & accomodating. We setup camp 🏕️ in Stoney Cove which suited our longer stay. A chorus of cicadas greeted us every morning & evening. The horses 🐴 & cows 🐄 wandering past was lovely. Stoney Creek is a great location from which to explore the surrounding towns, beaches & lakes. Thank you Knowla for a wonderful camping experience. 🌴🦋
