Above and beyond <3
David and Lynette have such a beautiful property and made us feel comfortable as soon as we arrived. Very hospitable but also let us have our privacy. We were their first proposal and once they found out, they really went above and beyond! Can’t wait to go back!!! Such happy memories.

Lynette and David were absolutely amazing hosts!! Their directions to get to the Ruin were super clear and they had really kindly set up a fire pit for us as well as a greeting food platter with their own home crafted wooden board. The chemical toilet they offered was also super convenient and it offered amazing views on the valley or stars depending on the of the day. The overall location was breathtaking, surrounded by nature, cows and kangaroos. This was an amazing experience!!

Easy to find, great views, pet friendly and lovely hosts.
This was such a beautiful spot. Perfect for our first family camping trip. David and Lynette were very welcoming. Our youngest spent almost our entire stay playing with the cute little kitchen and wagon which they brought over for her to use at the same time they dropped off a platter for us to snack on as we finished setting up our camp-site. The kids also got to experience hand feeding a couple of horses one afternoon. The scenery, especially early morning and late afternoon is spectacular and it was fun trying to spot the kangaroos on the hills. The morning we left they let us know that as there was not another booking that day we could take our time packing up which was a relief because as I mentioned before, being our first camping trip we had a bit to figure out in getting everything packed up again. Lynette even brought out some freshly backed scones with jam and cream which were delicious and such a kind gesture. We had a lovely stay and would love to go back and spend a bit longer next time.

Exceeded our Expectations!
A beautiful and scenic location - perfect for a relaxing weekend away. We enjoyed camp fires both nights we stayed here! Only a short drive to Dungog for supplies and the Mountain biking Park! David and Lynette are wonderful and considerate hosts! Will definitely return!

The views are breathtaking, and the hospitality and kindness shown by Lynette & David was well above and beyond our expectations. We were on our first Motorhome trip and our first 'off grid' location, after only a few days into our trip, so not everything was going to plan, but Lynette & David went out of their way to help us settle in. David met us at the gate (as a result of our own poor navigating, we missed the entrance), and Lynette welcomed us with a complimentary cup of tea & a plate my sweet treats, before leaving us to settle in. This place is truly stunning; a perfect combination of views, cattle grazing freely over the countryside, the friendly horses and a few kangaroos.
We highly recommend this beautiful country location.

Site 1 - Squires @ The Ruin
AMAZING & TRANQUIL! Just perfect!
Easy to locate by the beautiful timber sign on Bingleburra Road. As soon as you open the farm gate you are immediately transported into the tranquil surrounds. As you cruise up the dirt road (all easily accessible with our 21ft caravan), past the family of cows we were greeted by David & Lynette, who were so friendly and welcoming, made sure we had everything we needed but also left us to our own devices to enjoy the amazing landscape. David was also kind enough to give us some free firewood.
Absolutely breathtaking to wake up with the sunrising over the hills and made super special by the arrival of the 2 horses. We explored The Barrington Tops for a hike, and afternoon the micro brewery in Dungog, a beautiful lunch in Morpeth and just enjoying the quiet afternoons and cruising around the farm.
The site is near the house but it feels very private and a million miles away as you look out over the beautiful view.
We even purchased a beautiful timber cutting board made right there on the property!
The property is just amazing, the perfect trip!
