Paradise in a Mosquito colony
The site, facilities and staff service were awesome. The mosquitoes were horrendous. Although we creamed / sprayed continuously our daughters were savaged by the locals. We were contained in our van of an evening unable to enjoy the outdoors. Eating was done in van and family time again in the evenings was in van. The days and facilities were as good as anywhere we have been, the drawback is the insect activity off the mangroves. A great shame as the resort is very attractive for kids and family stays. G 🙏🏼

Exploring NSW
From the moment we arrived the camp was lovely. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. We booked a riverside powered site which was very peaceful and scenic. The pool area was clean tidy with three separate pools with sufficient loungers and seating areas. The 383 container cafe/bar/restaurant was handy, just outside the main gate for beers coffee and food. Thoroughly recommend this campsite.

Great spot to stay! Great views on the walk around the park and plenty of activities to do at the park itself

Powered Grass Site
After booking on Hipcamp the hosts weren’t able to assist us with booking a preferred site (if we’d booked directly we would have been able to do this apparently). The marketing texts promoting upgrades etc were annoying especially the one that said $3,500 would be debited from our account, when I rang to ask the response was “oh, it’s because you booked through Hipcamp”. The water slide, which was one of their main attractions, was a joke, it didn’t see anywhere on the website the fact it had opening times rather than being available all day, resulting in the que being huge. This was compounded by the fact people weren’t allowed to go down until the person at the end at got out, which seemed like a strange safety rule when the slide was so long and when it had such a big impact on the que. In the swimming pools you got whiffs of the nearest toilet block which wasn’t pleasant. The kids had a good weekend but for the price the adults weren’t very impressed.

Great spot … read the fine print
Absolutely awesome spot for kids … everything you needed all in one location. Lots of activities, bar, coffee shop groceries, fuel. I’d recommend that you read the fine print re refunds. We didn’t and were surprised that we could only get 50% refund. The fees are understandably steep, so you stand to lose a lot of money if you have to cancel or reschedule.

Absolutely beautiful
Such a beautiful spot right on the river! Bathrooms, showers and kitchen facilities so close and convenient anywhere you were. The best part was that we could bring our dog camping!! The staff was so lovely and welcoming, thank you for making our weekend!
