Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Our property is remote and suits seasoned professional 4WDers (especially during the wet season) who know how to navigate steep and muddy tracks (clay) through the mountainous terrain. The campsite itself is grassy and reasonably flat. There are plenty of good places to hike and mountain bike nearby. There are no amenities so you will need to bring your own camping toilet and shower facilities, and be truly self sufficient for camping in the remote Aussie bush.
We own 138 acres of mixed forests and open fields with a creek running through and a pond suitable for swimming. The beauty of this place is the quiet nature setting, beautiful vistas and endless hikes you can take. If you are into sketching/ painting you will find an endless supply of diverse landscape interest.
The area also offers you beautiful drives up the mountains, Ellenborough Waterfall and cute rural towns such as Wingham and Comboyne.
It suits people who want to enjoy nature with many species of birds, wallabies, dingoes, goannas and snakes, too. If you are into mountain biking you will find plenty of options, hiking is everywhere around with stunning views from the top of the often steep hills. Our property is remote and suits seasoned professional 4WDers (especially during the wet season) who know how to navigate steep and muddy tracks (clay) through the mountainous terrain.
