Great property for couples, families or larger groups. Each site individual to the group. Sally and Brian invite you to enjoy camping on their beautiful property. Surrounded by Yengo National Park and Crown land, Earthways is 134 ha (330 acre) property near Wollombi in a secluded part of the Wollombi Valley. Come and enjoy the noises of the bush and the clear night skies with no human neighbors close. No mobile reception. (Phone and wifi for emergencies at our house.) We (Brian and Sally) have been re-vegetating the land and living here sustainably being “Off Grid” for over 40years, surrounded by bush with 3km of Stockyard creek meandering through the valley. Creek is not flowing at the moment. We would love to share this paradise with those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Dogs welcome but kept on a lead. No leeches and No ticks in this area. NO close neighbors. Perfect spot to pitch your tent or set up your camper in the valley. Lots of sunshine and lots of shade. Easy dirt road access (5km) Some sites require/recommend 4WD -some 2WD is fine. Check each site separately. Come and take advantage of the Wollombi Valley's beautiful scenery and atmosphere. Sit and relax or get adventurous and explore the area. The historic village of Wollombi is only 25 minutes away, and has cafes, shop, museum and the Wollombi Tavern. The popular Broke and Pokolbin wine regions are a short 25-40 minute drive away in the opposite direction. Yengo National Park has some wonderful look out spots-great to drive to Finchley lookout to watch the sun set or check out Aboriginal art sites. You may see wombats, kangaroos, echidnas, goanna's, kookaburras, lyre birds black cockatoos and so many other native birds/creatures. Stunning rock features, caves, diverse ecosystems with abundant native fauna and flora. We are situated in a valley. Each of our separate camp sites are for your own private space.

Private rocky view site
What a peaceful, beautiful spot to stay and very private. We didn't see anyone the whole weekend . Plenty of space to set up and it was easy to find. The hosts were great, Sally met us along the road on the way in and guided us to the campsite. The honey they produce is delicious as well. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Private Kookaburra site
Wombat Campsite
Hosts were super friendly and helpful to get us to our site. They offered $10 bunches of wood for fire and provided a helpful guide for the site rules. The site we reserved online was changed and we were told this only on arriving to our site and were a little disappointed as this new site which has a creek close by, but it was definitely not for swimming in. We didn’t even let our dog near it. I think due to this last minute change and what was a very much inaccessible part of the creek I think it was bit overpriced for two nights. However the rest of our trip was enjoyable under so many stars and lush green nature all around us. Owners also had thoughtful details such as hanging shower and private tent toilet, plus we were lucky to have some extra fire logs at the site from previous campers. Definitely would return but maybe better after some decent rainfall, however that may also make it tricky to reach the spot as you do need to drive over a small part of the creek to get there.

Private Tree valley camp site
If you're looking for a secluded paradise in nature, this is the spot. If the only thing you need is having some peaceful time while listening the birds, you should check this camp ground. All the camping sites at Earthways are private. But when I say private, they are really private. We stayed at Tree Valley camp site for the long weekend. Everywhere was fully booked, but we didn't see any other human except Brian and Sally who are the loveliest hosts we have ever met. We're so happy about discovering this paradise, but much happier for meeting with great people like Brian and Sally.
