Rosnay is across the road from the original Bangaroo Station homestead, and was once part of the 36,000 acre station that was subdivided in 1905. The Statham family moved to Rosnay in 1996 and began renovating the run down farm using organic and biodynamic methods. They planted the first vines in 1997, and olives in 1999, as well as thousands of native trees, all planted and grown without any chemicals. The new glamping area is on the banks of a old farm dam in the middle of the olive grove. There are sheep and alpacas, and plenty of birds and kangaroos living there too. For those who prefer not to sleep out in the elements, we offer a lovely farmstay guest house. Rosnay is proud to be part of Rivers Road Organic Farms, an organic farming community title project.

Farmstay in the Olive Grove
Sam and his family were lovely hosts. Their property is picturesque, quiet and has everything you need. The Glamping tent has a camp kitchen that is fully stocked, electricity, shower, drop toilet and views of the dam. Sam was nice enough to give us a tour of the farm and opened the cellar door for us. Rosnay makes organic wines, preserved olives and figs and also makes olive oil. It was a delight to stay and we would recommend this place highly

Farmstay in the Olive Grove
We had a recent short, three night break at the farmstay. The kids loved the treehouse and rode their bikes round the vineyard to walk our excited dog. A great, quiet base to explore from - Richard and Sam are good hosts and we got to see wine bottling and wine tasting. Went into Canowindra for a pub dinner and to hang out at the spotless 25m outdoor pool with great coffee nearby. I’d recommend as a spot to recharge and get away for a few days

Glamping in the Olive Grove
Awesome weekend away. We celebrated our 10th anniversary there. We loved the fact it was far enough away from everything but within an hour from Orange to go enjoy some city luxury as we live in a small town ourselves. Would definitely go back with the kids.

We loved our stay at Rosnay. Everything as advertised and so much more. Perfect weekend getaway and we can’t wait to return. Sam was excellent to communicate with and always available throughout our stay.

Glamping in the Olive Grove
My wife and I spent two glorious nights in the bell tent at Sams place this last week. Was just us, our dogs and a few alpacas and sheep. Nothing but the stack of books we had with us and a few glasses of wine. Sam is a lovely host. The sheets were cotton and the tent was cool in the middle of summer. The camp kitchen made the whole experience so easy. Our little dog loved the dam and we jumped in the canoe after the sun went down and lay back looking at the dark nights sky. Cheers mate. We will be back
