Undulating grassy river flats surrounded with shade trees. Direct river access. Walking distance to Mullumbimby shops. 15 minutes to Brunswick Heads. 20 minutes to Byron Bay. Oct 2020 WARNING: A colony of bats has moved in adjacent to campsite. Very noisy at dawn. ---------------------------------------------- THE PROPERTY Campsite is set within “Riverside Organics” - a small sub-tropical fruit farm (100+ varieties), with a few vegie gardens & permaculture practices thrown in. Explore the orchards – even sample a few fruits you’ve likely never seen. ------------------------------------------- THE FACILITIES - Fresh clean water provided via a hose to campsite. - Firepit & fire-drum provided - Toilet is available under the farmhouse

      Lovely spot and friendly host but unfortunately the bat colony was pretty much overhead. If that had been mentioned in the property details we would have stayed elsewhere. If the bats move then the site was excellent!

      Nice spot handy to Byron Bay. Left a day earlier than our booking as the bats nearby were just to noisy at 4am. No one met us on arrival, paid for fresh local produce online which we didn't receive and paid for firewood only to find small branches.

      Beautiful spot by the river all to ourselves. Great canoeing trip down the river and we were picked up at the end. Hard to find anything wrong with this place, probably the toilet could have been cleaner however overall loved it

      We stayed here for 3 nights and Matthew met us on arival and told us what we needed to know and then left us alone to enjoy our time. We loved the fact that he only books it out to one group and the 5 of us had the place to our selves. Plenty of firewood was available by the wheelbarrow load.

      We didn't have the weather on our side but Matthew was very accommodating, fire was great by the river. We didn't go fishing maybe next time! Great little spot, close to town but feels like your away from it all! highly recommend.
