Fantastic spot along the Buckenbowra River with great access. Fish are highly visible and the camp leads to a pebble and sand beach with shallow waters than leading to a deep swimming hole. Highly secluded camp, nice large grassed area that's been well maintained and level sections big enough for a couple of camper trailers. Approximately 20mins drive in to Batemans Bay or Mogo with a lovely scenic drive. Multiple wildlife species can be spotted along the way. I highly recommend anyone considering staying here stay at least 2 days to really enjoy the surroundings. Amanda and Steve were great to deal with prior to arriving and I feel had there have been any issues they would have been more than welcoming to assist.

Secluded, quiet, river front with a lovely drive to the destination.
Magic spot, made more so by the fact that our dogs could spend all day off-lead and swimming, right at our front door!

What a spot! 5 stars. Couldn’t recommend this site anymore. Had a great weekend with the family and the dogs loved splashing around in the water. 100% be back.

We loved to be so isolated on such a lovely beautiful property with such lovely hosts! Being able to enjoy the river and surrounds along with everything Batemans bay had to offer as it wasn’t that far away. Memorable hassle free stay and look forward to returning! Also the neighbour down the road with the cows was a lovely chap!

Riverbend is a fantastic spot for those who want an entire campsite to themselves. Our hosts were amazing and the swimming hole was perfect for kids and our dogs!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Riverbend Camp. Amanda, Steve and their golden labrador, Dixie were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The campsite was all grass with access to the river and the firepit was great in the evenings. The weather was amazing - a very relaxing stay - thank you:)

Fantastic property right in the middle of the bush and beside a gorgeous river.
River is clean and has lots of little fish, and was a pleasure to swim in during the heat. Little beach access makes some safe play and water entry for the kids.
Owners are very friendly and accommodating, ensuring your stay is as private as possible and catered for.
The owners were only 50m away when we stayed so if you're after full on seclusion, this isn't the spot. Road in is slightly bumpy but nothing a small SUV or large sedan couldn't handle in the dry.
Overall the stay was fantastic and wish them the best of luck in the future.

Riverbend at Runnyford was a beautiful place to visit, relaxing and secluded. There were 9 of us, 2 large tents and 2 cars and still plenty of room to move. The beach was easy to access and pleasant to sit and watch the children play. My car, 2 wheel drive, didn't like the road very much at all. I would love to be able to visit again, but won't until I have access to a 4x4. Thank you Amanda and Steve for your hospitality, it was great yarning with you both.

Good flat area of mown grass for us to set out on for our three night stay at Riverbend, could easily accomate a caravan or trailer. Nice looking out toward the river itself, though we didnt go for a swim. We saw a huge goanna swimming just in front and then climbed up on the embankment. This part of the river seemed better suited to kayaks and SUP exploring. Lots of trees around for good shade, great to put our hammocks up and just relax and read our books which was what we wanted. It wasnt as private as we thought it was going to be, though hosts were lovely and left us to ourselves, the designated camping area is very close to where they have their setup. Would have been nicer to have the firepit faced toward the river for added feeling of privacy on such a lovely block of land.

Great quick peaceful bush camping escape and had no troubles finding it with our offroad caravan. Dogs loved the river and fresh water stream down the road further and hosts were great

Lovely spot easy drive out of Batemans Bay. Great creek for kids to play all day, enough shade all day and grass kept very well. Hosts are lovely people too.
