Serene and beautiful camp site sitting above the creek. Fantastic host who was very accomodating and really welcoming. Absolutely recommend River Bend!

Beautiful campground on the Cataract river. I stayed at site 1 which was under some shady pine trees overlooking the river. Nice and quiet just the sounds of the river and the birds (lots of fairywrens). Would stay again!

We loved our stay for 2 days! I could have stayed longer, however had to go back to work! The sandy clear water was beautiful, the sites are large and private. Perfect place for a refreshing swim. Richard the host popped down to say Hi and is a really nice guy! We will be back that’s for sure 🙌

This place is lovely and peaceful with campsites spread out so you wouldn't know anyone else is there.
The kids had fun swimming in the river and running around especially when the horses came to say hello.
I would recommend this place to my mates to stay at.

Right by the river - just us and the cows! Pity we had 24 hours of 50km wind gusts keeping us inside until we had to leave. We will be back!!

What a spot!
Beautiful camps dotted along the creek.
We had site 3 which was one of the largest ones (3 vans easy would fit) it is flat and great access to creek would want to be sure you have shade in the hotter months.
Richard was a great bloke and dropped in and insisted to help ourselves to some fallen dead wood.
Easy access off the highway but still far enough for next to no road noise.
Definitely will be back.

We needed a place to stay that was close to the highway on our way through, it was peaceful and such a beautiful place. It would be good to to back and spend more time exploring the creek.

What a fantastic spot right near the river. The area was grassy, very tidy and level. Enjoyed our few days camping by the river. Easy access in and out of the property made it easy to explore the area. Highly recommended.

Riverbend was an awesome off grid place to spend a couple days, just listening to babble of the creek and the crackle of a fire. Was very easy to find and the camp sites are well laid out and good seperation between sites, so you aren’t on top of each other. We stayed on site 1 and would so again.

We had a great time at Riverbend. Private sites along the river which was running beautifully. The Rapids site had somewhat limited access to the water however locking the hubs on the Crocs made it easy for a dip! The host was very accomodating and easy going. We will definitely be back for another stay 🤠

Great spot ! We loved the riverside area and Richard was great! Really friendly and informative.
We enjoyed our walk nearby seeing the cows and horses and nice and quiet camp site.
River was lovely and fresh.
A nice short drive to Tenterfield :)

Had the place to myself. Lovely flat grass on the banks of a shallow crystal clear flowing creek with Kingfishers flitting around. Very friendly host, Richard, welcomed me on arrival. Sort of place you could go back too. Perfect for small of larger groups.

We loved our stay .
Richard rang with clear directions, our site was lovely and large , mowed and next to the river .
We enjoyed a swim in the river which was a clear sandy based river . The cows meandering down in the evening was a highlight.

So much to see & do & that’s without leaving the dirt roads on & around the property!
Then there’s endless things to do & explore in every direction beyond.
10 exclusive Huge camp sites all on the banks of the clean flowing cataract river , 8 of which are private except for the roam cattle that pass by randomly.
This was our 2nd visit & will be planning our 3rd later this year

Riverside is such a beautiful place to camp, the river is crystal clear with a sandy bottom, you get a huge camp site all to yourself, and there is plenty of space between camp sites. The sites are very well mowed and clean with plenty of firewood if you need it. Richard is also a great host with tips of things to do in the area. Would highly recommend camping here!

This is an absolute gem of a spot to relax for a few days, Richard put us on a secluded little spot where we saw nor heard no body else. This is my second visit and will not be the last! The river is a magic spot for a swim and perfect for dogs who love the water.

Absolutely loved this camp site. We booked in the afternoon for a same day booking and Richard was very accommodating for us and made sure to fit us in. He was lovely to communicate with. Highly recommend and we would love to go back and try out a different spot!! Dog friendly too!

We had such a lovely visit at Rivers Bend. Stayed at site 2 looking over the river and it was beautiful. The property has been kept very well and there were firepits ready for us to use. The site itself was large, perfect for a group. Being dog friendly was such a bonus and our boy loved playing in the river and watching the cows. Thanks for having us.

Our camp spot was perfect, freshly mowed area right in front of a nice creek, it was lovely to wake to the sound of the cows nearby ,Richard gave us a warm friendly welcome ,invited us to see him with any concerns .
Plenty to do in and around Tenterfield ,I recommend this spot to anyone who is interested in a nice quiet getaway.
