Idyllic spot
I loved it here- it is an idyllic place to stay and great facilities. Highly recommend for that easy getaway in a tiny home or camping. We were a party of four and so did both.
The access to the river and kayaks was amazing, a beautiful view to wake up to and so close to Sydney.
We will definitely return.

Great spot, so relaxing
Really great spot so close to Sydney.
The hosts are very helpful, and their sons are really friendly.
Good spot to camp right on the water to swim and camp or just chill with the animals.
We will definitely be back.

Hill Top Tiny River House
We loved this tiny house with a river view! It's perfect for a getaway from Sydney. Well equipped with a kitchen, shower, bathroom, outdoor furniture and BBQ area, I can't imagine a cozier spot for a weekend. Definitely recommended. :)

Tiny house stay !
A lovely spot right by the river , a little walk down the hill and you are there to swim kayak or fish ! My granddaughter absolutely loved the ponies on the property , bonus having the tree swing and trampoline there . Water was excellent depth for herbeing able to play and build sand castles and nan to sit on a low chair in the water keeping cool . My daughters loved the double kayaks provided I think they may just have a new hobby now !!
The family tiny house wow just soo darn cute , we had two adults, two teens a five year old & a 4month old & we found it comfortable. Cooked up a storm on the bbq provided & kids loved the outdoor bath ..
Overall great experience , very clean , all you need is provided for you to enjoy & relax . Hosts were amazing very good with correspondence , I would highly recommend.
The Only thing i would like to see for next time would be for some outdoor shaded area 😎

Glamping On The River
Very relaxing stay
We enjoyed our stay. The fact there are kayaks to go down the river is great. The tent is very comfortable and the hot shower and regular toilet are great. Megan was very responsive to any requests. The fact there is a table/benches and a fire pit next to tent is great. Lots of wildlife and exploring to be done by the river.

Glamping On The River
Good location not too far from Sydney, my little furry friend loved it, the river and space. Megan and hubby are very accommodating and available if anything is required. I feel the photos of the property and glamping tent implies their is a view of the river however the front pf the tent is a view of one tiny house and one side is the dam, house and big sheds. You can hear the cars on the road at night.

My kids loved the place with some basic kids equipment like a trampoline and swing.
The place is well maintained with great flush toilet and hot shower. Great location and view too. Only downside is the amount of poo poo from the hosts pony is scattered all over the campsites. Will come back again.

It was a great place to stay, the direction was so easy to find because of the way it was explain. The camping site was very clean as well as the toilets they look amazing, they had free kayaks to use on the river. Also the animals where very friendly. I had the change to meet Megan and she was very nice and friendly. We love the place and I would recommend it thanks again Megan for the beautiful stay.

Our second time at Hipcamp yarramundi. Great location. The owners are really helpful. Will go out of Thier way to help you out . Great location, close to Sydney. Hot showers, an abundance of firewood. If you want to escape for a few days close to Sydney, I would highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay, Megan and her kids was so cooperative and visited us to check everything all right! Kids enjoyed a lot especially paddle boat. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Highly recommended for family with kids

Glamping On The River
We stayed in the family tiny house. It was fantastic! Clean, cosy bedding, lush towels, a decent sized fridge, nice sized bathroom, hot shower, flushing toilet… There were 2 double kayaks that we borrowed to explore the river - caught plenty of fat bass in the long pool upriver. Swam across to a huge sand beach at the bottom of the rapids. Trampoline, swing and peddle boat in the dam and lots of games in the house for the kids.

Fantantic weekend gateaway!
It was wonderful! The kids enjoyed the place and view. They loved riding a kayak and seeing some horses. Been camping twice already because kids wanted to come back after our first stay. Looking forward coming back again next time. Megan is a friendly host.

We loved our stay at Tiny river house. Short drive from Syd but real country feel. Accomodation was excellent. Nice touches from the host like jam and marshmallow and trampoline for kids. Bring your own oil, salt, garbage bag, toiletries, and carots for ponies, everything else is provided. Shops are just a short drive. Views are awesome. Also would recommend to bring your own kayaks, communal may need a good clean after rain and 4 seater paddle board is too heavy to carry to the river. We were unable to use either kayaks or paddle board. The family tiny house was spotless, very clean. Seemed almost brand new. The whole family enjoyed the stay very much.

Campsite was not same as pics. Not private. Very expensive. Horses were friendly though. Would not recommend the campsite I stayed at for that price.

Fabulous find super close to Sydney
What a fabulous find so close to Sydney!
Good size spots, the amenities are clean and modern. Megan is a great host!
Was so easy to feel confident with the kids being free range. A trampoline, a saucer swing and many a spot to explore kept them so occupied.
Friendly horses although do lock down all food as they are super opportunistic 🤣 especially if you leave your site for a spot of exploring!
It will be wonderful when camping is allowed on the river banks again (not possible just at the moment due to erosion from floods)

Hill Top Tiny River House
Everything you could want
We had a great stay at the Tiny River House. It was a great location, private and relaxing. The house has e has everything you need, a comfy bed, good shower with hot water, and nice finishing touches inside. The outside bathtub was amazing and watching the sunrise from bed was beautiful. The ponies were very happy to say hello. I can’t wait to return.

Romantic glamping !
What a fabulous trip! The tent is gorgeous!! And the fireplace and outdoor seating made for a great place to eat, sip and play cards. I couldnt recommend this place enough, it’s romantic and the gorgeous curious horses were such a highlight. My cavoodle and horses playing together near the river was magical, and at only an hour away from Sydney house pinch yourself.

Hill Top Tiny River House
Perfect staycation
We stayed in the little grey house at the top of the hill for two nights. The house is very well kitted out with everything you need to make your stay comfortable, fully functioning shower and toilet, microwave, twin gas hob, bar fridge, toaster, air fryer and a portable heater. It’s very spacious inside, the bed is so comfortable and extra throws are provided but surprisingly we didn’t need to use them as it was very cosy inside. There’s a daybed and egg chair to relax outside and we used the Weber bbq both nights to cook dinner and sat around the fire pit. The highlight of the stay was the outside stone bath. A hot bubble bath on a winter evening is just divine. I’ll definitely go back, it’s such a great place and only 90 minutes from Sydney. I was forced to completely relax and do nothing, exactly what I needed.

Glamping on the river
Kids loved the horses and the glamping tent is fun for the kids.
We did think there would be a pot belly fire in the glamping tent as had seen one in one of the pictures on hicamps so we didn’t bring enough doonas/blankets and were pretty cold at night. Would advise to bring extra doonas/clothes for night time if you stay in the glamping tent in winter.
Megan was very accommodating when we said we were freezing at night and gave us the 3 bedroom tiny house for a reduced cost and kindly found out what restaurant we were going to and called ahead and gave us a $50 gift card for dinner.
The 3 bedroom tiny home was very clean and well decked out.

Something for everyone
Our family of 5 loved our stay at Yarramundi. There was something for everyone; the river is gorgeous and the kids had fun on the paddle boat and petting the adorable mini horses. Richmond Markets and Bilpin were brilliant, we felt like we were miles away yet only an hour to get there.

Lovely tiny house and outlook
The tiny house is lovely with lots of thoughtful extras and the windows frame the gorgeous river view. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. There were a few people camping nearby so the windows are tinted for privacy. We had some issues with the power and hot water as there was some work going on next to us. Megan provided a refund without us asking or expecting one, as her aim is to make the experience one she would want herself.
