Great views and quiet site.
Easy to find. Nice country atmosphere.
Site was a bit too open and exposed for us but other people may like that. No shade during warm weather but would probably make good winter camp.

I loved camping at Revelstone mountain's camps.
On-top of a mountain, quiet peaceful serenity. Campsites are clean, setup to be relaxing and peaceful time. Planning to make this our regular campsite. Plenty of kangaroos of an evening.

We really enjoyed our time at Kooyong. The views were amazing. Sites are all clearly labelled and it was easy to find our camp site. Highly recommended.

A magnificent slice of heaven! Views are simply the best, and the whole site was serene, tranquil and photo worthy from every angle. Each camping site is far from one another and hence it offers ultimate privacy and seclusion. One of the most memorable camping site we have been to! 😊 Would def visit again!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Tree of Heaven mountain camp. The views were absolutely stunning and the area so beautiful to just sit back, relax and enjoy a few splendid days camping. We would absolutely come back in a heartbeat and can’t wait to try the other sites!

Exceptional!!! Best Hipcamp stay we have had thus far ☀️🙌. Sites are stunning, you are spaced generously around the property so get a real sense of privacy and quiet. The facilities are excellent.
Only consideration, if you are bringing kiddos there are some stinging nettles when your adventure the property, so pack some antihistamines and sting-goes, did the trick when our 5yo landed his hand on one.
But this is a MUST visit! Totally worth the drive from Sydney 🙌👌🏽☀️

What a spectacular spot! Graeme has done such a good job setting this place up. I felt so comfortable and grateful the moment I got there. Sunset was magnificent and I loved exploring the granites around the camp. 10/10 every day of the week

We arrived late so had no contact with the owner. The gate codes worked as per the instructions. The site and tracks were well marked.
As per direction on the map, some of the trails were only suitable for 4WD which added to the adventure. The mountain site was pretty exposed in the wind but we could easily have found a more shelters spot if we needed.
In the end, I'm glad we didn't because we woke up the next morning to the most magnificent views.
We'll be back, but next time we will bring friends.

HANGING ROCK Mountain camp site
The property is a very beautiful one. Views are quite amazing from the top of the mountain. It was a little windy while I stayed at Hanging Rock, but that was due to the weather that was hammering Sydney at the time. Graham was kind enough to allow me to change campsites further down the mountain (Banyula) where it was more sheltered. It also had great views. There are many tracks around the property that are relatively easy four wheel driving, I enjoyed my time driving around them and exploring. It was also a nice walk around the property.

We had a great time! Everything is very tidy and conveniently labeled, so it was very easy to find. The views are absolutely stunning! On top of that, there are some great 4WD tracks that we enjoyed! Absolutely recommend!

The camp spot was beautiful! The views were stunning! Need a 4WD to get there but well worth it. Peaceful (besides a little lamb who found his voice haha)
4WD tracks were good and we loved. Our daughter loved the exploring of rocks and hills.

We loved Graeme’s patch of paradise. The views were amazing. Was great to have so much space for the kids to explore and the 4x4 tracks were a lot of fun. Heaps of firewood around. We spent two nights here and didn’t leave. Was a nice place to unwind

We enjoyed our one night at Graeme’s property. We stayed at the Campers lair site - beautiful view surrounded by granite rocks. Fireplace provided with some wood. Would definitely stay again. Good communication from Graeme.

Definitely worth expressing your desires to Graeme. He seamlessly changed the site we had originally booked and moved us to a site that lined up with our wishes. Plus there are also many many more sites he can suggest beyond the pics and reviews. Would love too go there in the greener months. Spectacular views. Stunningly quiet.

Revelations mountain camps is a great spot for anyone looking to get away from life in general ! The place is so nice, we camped at the Heavens Gate spot and really enjoyed it. Clean air, nice big spots for privacy and overall just a good experience. We got to meet Graeme himself and he’s such a lovely bloke, very friendly and very passionate. Would 100% recommend, we will definitely be coming back !

LIBERTY VIEWS BASE CAMP
Great property with fantastic views. Spent a whole day exploring the mountain on the 4wd tracks. Sites are all private and some of the caravan suitable sites are big enough for a couple vans.

The best Hipcamp we been to! Tree of Heaven overlooking the valley and we had a breathtaking views throughout our stay. We had fun driving up and down the site. Will definitely camp here again if we come to the area in the future.

This property was fantastic. We were the only people here and went exploring, each camping site had its own merits. Liberty Views had a wonderful view and the sunset did not disappoint. The grounds were well kept and signposted. Each site had a designated campfire, which we loved. The campsites are well spaced. The property is located central to Wyangala Dam and Cowra, we also ventured out to Canowindra. We’ll definitely be back ! 💗

We had a lovely stay at Sunset Rocks Base Camp! The area is peaceful with stunning views and totally 2WD accessible, which made it super easy to get to. Graeme, our host, came by to say hi and told us about Elliotts Lookout—such a beautiful spot, definitely worth the visit.
We brought our dog Poppy, and she had the best time. At night, we saw so many stars and even a meteor shower—one of our favourite camping memories so far.
There’s no toilet or water, so come prepared. But if you love quiet, off-grid camping with incredible views and plenty of firewood around, this place is perfect. We’ll definitely be back with friends!

Our little family (2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs) had a great time camping at Graeme’s place. We stayed at “Fox Hollow” up on the mountain and had amazing views of the surrounding countryside and both sunrise and sunsets. Although there was a number of other people staying here, it was incredibly private. We only saw the other campers when they drove past our site or when we drove past theirs. Graeme stopped by to see how we were doing and shared some local knowledge with us too.
