Hi campers, Nestled among the hills on Old Man Gunyah Creek, this 1400 acre property is owned &and run by John & Jen. It's a sheep farm running 1600 sheep producing fine wool and fat lambs. Plenty of room to move, walk the hills, catch a fish, or just sit by the camp fire & watch the stars. Bring your motor home, caravan, camper, tent or swag, the choice is yours. The shearing shed has a fully equipped kitchen & plenty of fresh rain water. You are welcome to roll out your swag in the shearing shed if you prefer. Controlled dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash at all times. There is no mobile service or Wi-Fi. We are 50 kms from a corner store/service station, so don't leave yourselves short. There are toilets scattered around the property, but no shower available.

Site 2 Wilsons Flat
We spent the weekend at Wilson’s Flat campsite and it was perfect! Directions to the property were very easy to follow. We definitely came at the right time, plenty of water in the creek to dip your toes in or make a splash in the deep parts, green grass for as far as you could see. Campsite nestled along the creek surrounded by rolling hills, the views were absolutely stunning. What stood out was how well maintained everything was. The toilet was well looked after and stocked with everything you needed, bins were provided, great campfire, a map to the property if you wanted to explore or hike. Generous spacing between campsites you were in your own little oasis! From the very beginning everything was easy, well thought out and cannot fault anything. Thankyou Jen and John for a wonderful stay, we will be back again!!

Our site was at philaris pdk site 4 but we did our camping near our shearing shed. It’s quite far from Sydney around 280 km but it was worth it. Peaceful place. Clean toilets, water available. If you are going from Sydney book for 2 days. John and Jennifer are good.

We loved our stay at Redlands. Jen and John are super friendly and helpful. We had a great location on the property and we were able to explore all the paddocks. It was generally quiet and peaceful. Our kids enjoyed riding around and the sheep shearing demonstration. I would highly recommend staying at Redlands. There are many different sites to suit everyone, remote or closer to the homestead depending what you like.

My partner and I loved staying at Redlands camping. We received clear directions to our site from Jennifer, and loved exploring the working farm in our 4wd. The site was beautiful and secluded, loos and bins super clean.

An absolutely STUNNING place, and can’t recommend it enough. Our site was a huge, clean, private site, beside a beautiful creek. Lots of great site choices. Plenty of room to set up and communication before stay was clear and made it an easy arrival. An amazing property to explore, with breathtaking views high above the campground and being a working sheep farm added to the adventure, with lots of ways to get involved. John and Jen were the perfect hosts, friendly, helpful and made our stay so memorable. Thank you so much, we all had an awesome time and appreciate what you have created. We are excited to return for another great stay as soon as we can. This Hipcamp is AWESOME!!!!

We had a great stay at Redland Camp. Jen was super friendly and helpful. ShLovely Stay and Great Hoste came by in the morning to check in on us and even helped us move to a closer site when she noticed site 4 was a bit far from the toilet. The place is peaceful and well maintained, and we really appreciated the personal touch and care. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

One of the best campsites near sydney. The hosts Jennifer and John make sure the guest settles in comfortably. We had the whole site to ourselves. Even ground and absolutely gorgeous landscapes. Will definitely take the trip back in future.

We loved the quiet area we were in. There was power and a toilet. When the gate was closed we could let our dogs run around freely. Beautiful views with wonderful sunsets and sunrises.

Situated on green grass, beside running water, this site offers a peaceful and private retreat. As our first HipCamp experience - this sets a high bar! Thankyou Jen for your warm welcome and allowing us a late check out. Came for a night and wished we were staying a week!

We had a very positive experience at Redlands. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Access was good (to site 2). Unlike a lot of places bins are provided and the portaloo was cleaned for us on arrival. Jen was friendly and warm and very respectful of privacy. The grass and site were flat and clear and the creek was deep enough for a plunge and plenty of paddling spots with fresh running water. It’s far out so bring what you need and enjoy yourself. Saw plenty of wildlife including a big snake on our bush walk around the hills (not at the site!!) Will definitely be returning.

We loved our few days at Redlands. Hosts Jen and John were lovely and very helpful throughout our stay. The map and directions given for a Redland afternoon drive were a fantastic way to see more of the beautiful landscape. We were at a powered site which was great during some cold winter evenings and mornings. The sites are cozy, private and peaceful. Would absolutely return.

What ca i say , it was perfect off grid experience, beautiful, tranquil. I loved that there supply some port loos about for morning constitution, they deliver firewood to site. We could explore this working farm and all views it offers. I will be back with family next time. So spacious I thought we all alone own private farm. Host were so friendly and keep few home made sauces and jams that are delicious.

Redlands Camping is a hidden gem—beautiful campsites, fantastic hosts, The sites are spacious and well-kept, with easy access and clean facilities. As a photographer, I was blown away. Stunning sunrises, peaceful landscapes, and clear night skies made for unforgettable shooting opportunities. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready with tips and local knowledge to make our stay even better. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature, photography, and a warm camping experience.

A fabulous, very private, and large site with multiple areas to set up camp depending on your set up. The fire wood supplied burned long and hot - needed during the cold that set in for the weekend. The site has plenty of sun for those needing to charge up. The site gave my dogs plenty of room to move around however needed to kept an out out for the sheep that wandered in or close to the site to ensure all stayed safe - it is a working farm and needs to be respected as such. Even better…..a toilet was provided! This site was great value and I look forward to coming back in the warmer months.

We stayed at site 2 and had such a good experience. The site is flat, and can accommodate a large group. We had a total of 11 people, and a mix of caravans, swags and tents. It was very relaxing and Jenny and John were super friendly and happy to provide firewood as well. There are toilets available but no water or sullage. We will return again for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at Redlands Camping. It’s a quiet, peaceful spot far from the hustle and bustle of the city — perfect for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. The owners are a lovely, welcoming couple who made us feel very comfortable. The camping spaces are spacious and well laid out, giving everyone plenty of room to relax. We brought our dog along, and he had an amazing time too. Highly recommend Redlands Camping to anyone looking for a serene getaway!

Peaceful Easter getaway.

We loved camping on Jen and John's land. The campsites were well spread out and even though we stayed over the Easter and Anzac long weekends it was quiet and peaceful. Jen's communication before our trip was great and we can't wait to try the fig and pear spread we bought from her homestead shop. We stayed on Isolation which was right at the back of the property and only suitable for those with a full off grid set up, however there were other sites that had toilets close to them for those who need it. We will definitely be back!

Lovely hosts they are, John and Jennifer 💖 and beautiful site with plenty of toilets. Toilets are maintained really well all the time and kept clean which is rare at campsites. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to camp there.
