YAY!!! We are very excited to be named as a finalist in the Australian Hipcamp Farmstay Award category for 2024. This award was based on camper reviews, high quality of experiences provided and 95% property wide recommendation rate for 2023. Our Facebook page is “Pringy’s Farm Balnagask” for the latest news, activities and new ventures. Pringy’s Farm “Balnagask” is located 20 kilometres east of Moree, on the banks of the Mehi river. Escape off the grid and enjoy the peace and quiet the country has to offer. Our farm features beautifully manicured grass camping sites (as well as more natural sites) an abundance of wildlife, native birds and lots of fun farm animals. You can relax around your campfire in the evening, enjoy a special sunset, spectacular star gazing or some interesting nocturnal wildlife. The farm is almost 200 acres which features sustainable pastures and plenty of animals to see and feed such as miniature goats, a donkey, Texas Longhorn cattle, chooks, rabbits, sheep and many more depending on the season and what is happening on the farm. We are happy to introduce you to the animals and share some information about them. We have three crazy Tenterfield Terriers; Maggie, Bart and Beagle who will occasionally visit you for a cuddle or a sit by the fire. Your socialised pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times and campers must clean up after their pets. What we offer..... We offer animal spotting night tours (see Extras or ask your host) OR adopt and care for the farms guinea pig and rabbits for the duration of your stay. That’s if your parents agree!!! Don’t miss the opportunity to try and purchase some unique handmade “Eurah” soap (indigenous ingredient) made on site by Belinda. Farm produce is available when in season and abundance, this may include: - organic free-range eggs, fruit, vegetables and herbs. A septic toilet and creative outdoor shower are within walking distance to all campsites for a small fee (see Extras or ask your host) otherwise your camp must be self-contained. Potable water is available. Firewood is available (see Extras or ask your host) or purchase on arrival. Future Projects..... We are currently working on several projects which include: - The Carapark Cubby and playground, The Dam Sunset Platform, Rustic Bath Soaker Deck, Graze boxes, Farm Tours, Express Driveway sites, Riverbank pergola just to name a few. Things to see and do..... There is plenty to see and do in the area including: - Tareelario Weir - access to water skiing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, a boat ramp and some excellent fishing, Pally Pub – the well renowned pub with great meals and friendly locals. And don’t forget the Pally Bush Markets – 4000 visitors held in March, July and October. Visit the Moree Tourist Centre for information on - Waa Gorge National Park, local tours (Pecan, Cotton Gin and the Moree Town), Moree Aquatic Centre for the famous hot artesian springs, Moree Markets – first Sunday of the month. Our working farm is located in the town of Pallamallawa close to Moree. The camping area is a beautifully manicured grass area on the banks of the Mehi River which is part of the Murray Darling catchment. There is an abundance of wildlife and native birds on the river and around the property. You can relax around your campfire in the evening and enjoy some great star gazing. We offer animal spotting night tours and firewood bundles at a small additional costs- please see our extras at the time of booking. The farm also has plenty of novelty animals to see such as alpacas, donkeys, sheeps, chooks, rabbits and much more. We are happy to introduce you to the animals, please just let your host know if you are interested. 1km down the road is access to the Gwydir River which has a boat ramp, access to water skiing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and some excellent fishing. We are also 25km from the Moree artesian hot baths.  Pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times and campers must clean up after their pets. Campers must bring their own toilet with them.

Enjoy a night in our early 70's Retro Viscount Caravan. Newly renovated inside containing your basic needs, linen, tableware, utensils and access to a toilet and hot shower. "Funky" is located beside the Mehi river. Relax and unwind with a beer, wine or cuppa and enjoy the abundant native birdlife. Sit around an open fire at night (wood supplied) and be amazed by our BIG SKY, gazing at the stars. Private river access where you can enjoy the serenity or drop a line and maybe catch a yellow belly for dinner. Wonder around our beautiful farm and introduce yourself to our unique animals. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be arranged at an additional cost. Worried the kids are missing out??? Bring along a tent or swags as "Funky" only sleeps two people together. Additional fees apply for the kids or variation to the basic booking. The perfect set up for novice campers however we do require at least 24 hours' notice prior to the booking.

The Cattle Yard Camp
We were free to walk around the property, the yards and areas are very well cared for. You see farm animals and a couple of ponies and a donkey. Farmer Col was very friendly and welcoming and chatty, and made us feel very comfortable and cared about.

Funky Little Caravan
I only had a quick overnight at the Funky Little Caravan while passing through, but wow — what a memorable spot. The property is peaceful and beautifully cared for, with thoughtful touches everywhere. Belinda’s handmade Eurah soap is a little luxury, and the firepit setup made for a perfect beer-at-sunset moment under the gums. Didn’t get to try the shower, but it looked great — next time! Pringy and Belinda are warm, generous hosts and I truly hope to come back for a longer stay. This place has real heart.

Nice camp in a good location with very friendly hosts and some cool animals including goats. Shower was unique. Only downside was it was quite expensive for what it was and you are in front of the homestead. Would consider staying again

Absolutely loved our stay here, Belinda the host was so friendly and accommodating, the kids loved seeing all the different animals , campsites are well maintained and enough distance between them to keep it private, we will be back

We had such a beautiful stay at Balnagask! The location was easy to find, and the arrival instructions were spot on – it made everything so smooth. It was lovely to be greeted by the host, Belinda upon arrival. The communication was excellent from start to finish, with helpful messages upon booking and a friendly check-in. The extra costs for the firewood and flushing toilets were definitely worth it. The fire pits were beautifully set up with the wood ready for us, and the toilets were very clean and easily accessible. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful, which really added to the welcoming atmosphere. Our kids absolutely loved seeing all the animals, especially the adorable new baby goats! It was such a great spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Our only regret is that we didn't book a longer stay! We would absolutely visit Pringy's Farm Balnagask again and will definitely be staying longer next time. Highly recommended for a fantastic farm stay experience!

Our experience at Pringy’s Farm was awesome. It was so peaceful and being able to interact with all the animals was an absolute bonus; midnight trips to loo and being greeted by Ralph the cat every time, being able to pat the longhorn cattle, chooks, donkey, goats, dogs and sheep. The stars at night were incredible, we saw 3 shooting stars and several satellites move across the sky. Everything at their farm was great from handmade soap to souvenirs. Belinda was an amazing host, making sure we had all that we needed. A place we will definitely return to!

Belinda and Col have created a true oasis at Pringys Farm, and their passion for sharing it shines through in every detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Meeting the cows, goats, and sheep was such a treat. We only wish we could have stayed longer to fully soak in the farm life.

We loved staying at Pringy’s and would highly recommend if you need a stop around the Moree area. We felt welcomed and it was such a nice green spot to relax for a few days. Kids absolutely loved the animals and the tour to meet them. Pringy and Belinda were great. We will be back

Pringy is an awesome host and has very well maintained property and facilities. I had an issue with my trailer and they helped me sort it out. Definitely staying here again! Highly recommend!

After a long drive on a hot day, Pringy’s Farm was a heavenly place to land. A welcome dip in the river and we retired to the softest, springy grass and shady camping spot - simply glorious! Col aka Pringy is a philosopher farmer and charismatic man for all seasons. The haven he and wife, Belinda have created is nothing short of inspirational. On your stay you will experience the sweetest artesian water, an incredible indoor/ outdoor shower to watch the sunset by and a lively and vibrant riverside ecosystem. Belinda’s Eurah infused soap is also devine - don’t leave without picking up some. My favourite Hipcamp experience!
