Pull up your camper trailer or pitch your tent on one of two creek side spots on our peaceful 8 acre property. Explore the meandering creek day or night to spot turtles, crayfish, echidnas, azure kingfishers, glow worms and if your lucky, and early enough, a platypus. There are also a few spots along the creek perfect for a cooling dip in the warmer months. As the sun sets, stoke up a warming campfire (fire bans may apply) to enjoy some afternoon drinks and snacks around, while the kids enjoy exploring or building a bush cubby. When the light fades enjoy the starry night sky and being lulled to sleep by the babbling creek. Located within walking distance to the fantastic Northern Rivers Rail Trail, a short drive from the local shops, including a cafe, pharmacy, general store, butcher, and even a wine tasting bar. A 20 minute drive to the coast and beautiful beaches, and Byron Bay is just a little further. A myriad of bush walks and interesting country towns await you within an easy drive also. Come for a peaceful, nature connecting stay or use our camp as a base to explore all this wonderful area has to offer. Friendly, well-behaved dogs are permitted, however, we ask that they remain on a lead as we wish for the wildlife to not be disturbed. We look forward to welcoming you!

Kingsfisher Corner is a grassy site overlooking a peaceful waterhole. Other site guests may come and go past this site to access the rest of the property, other than this the site is private. Guests have access to a communal toilet a short walk from the site. Please note there are no showers or potable water available.

Bamboo Bend is as it's name suggests, situated under a clump of giant bamboo and right on one of the creek bends. Enjoy your own section of the creek and the peaceful surrounds. The site is located off the drive into the property, so you may encounter the other site guests coming and going. Other than this, the site is private. Guests have access to a communal toilet a short walk from the site. Please note there are no showers or potable water available.

Kingfisher Corner Campsite
Alana has created a true paradise with lots of thoughtful extras (fresh herbs, clean portaloo, tropical plantings), making this one of the very best Hipcamp sites around. It was absolutely perfect. We’ve already booked our return visit. Alana is a wonderful host who did everything possible to make our stay even more memorable. Thankyou Alana❤️

Host was very flexible and allowed our larger group to spread out over to the other side of the creek which was perfect. Allana is very friendly and very easy going. Site is in a great location to ride the rail trail.

Beautiful & private spot, right next to the creek. We had a great time despite some rain & mud thanks to Mother Nature 😆 Feels like you are in your own little oasis. Walked the rail trail and saw the glow worms in the Tunnell which our 6 year old loved. Alana was so thoughtful & kind, offering us help due to rain on the day we were packing up to leave. We will be back for sure.

Loved our stay at Pocket Sized Paradise! The toilets are impeccably kept. Lots to do locally or even just hanging around the camp is a simple luxury. We will definitely be back!

Really nice spot with great access to the Rail Trail. Nathan was pretty relaxed and didn’t mind us crossing the creek to find a dryer spot.

This campsite was pretty much perfect. Grounds were well kept, plenty of access to the creek and shade and space galore. Oh and the little herb gardens were a beautiful touch. The kids had a fantastic time and we hope everyone else enjoys such a peaceful place. Bamboo bend had a pleasant seat and Kingfisher corner had a picnic table which was handy. It was only 100 metres to the rail trail too so super convenient!

Enjoyed a peaceful stay at kingfisher corner. The campsite was super private with lots of land to explore. Alana was so lovely & helpful!! Lots of beautiful wildlife & even turtles swimming in the creek :) Looking forward to stay again sometime 💜

So private and peaceful. Beautiful location. Loved swimming in the creek and listening to the water flowing and the birds chirping. Really well maintained. Suited us perfectly. Will definitely be back.

We didn’t want to leave Kingfisher Corner. The site is peaceful, private, with the sound of a babbling brook lulling you to sleep. Alana has thought of everything to make your stay complete. The clean porta-loo is a massive bonus too! We had visits from the local turtles swimming in the creek and the herb garden is a nice touch taking your cooking to the next level. We will definitely be back… if this little secret stays a well kept secret. Thank you Alana for sharing your little pocket of paradise.

I was so torn about leaving such an Incredible review because I don’t want anyone else to find this hidden gem!!!! Alana was SO accommodating. This was by far the BEST ever hip camp we have been to. It was so so so CLEAN, it was secluded and had the most beautiful fresh running creek, which you could swim in. It was so spacious, you couldn’t hear a thing except the nature. The toilet - CLEANEST toilet we have ever seen, it was cleaned daily. There was wood and a fire pit kitted with a shovel and grill top, not even to mention a huge array of beautiful fresh herbs at your doorstep free to use which complimented our dinners! We never wanted to leave. Cannot highly recommend this spot enough

Such a beautiful peaceful camp-site. The access to the creek was so nice to cool off and the sites was large enough for all our stuff. We especially enjoyed how close you are to the trail to enjoy a walk down to the tunnel. The toilet was the cleanest portaloo weve ever had camping too! We will definitely be back!

Really reluctant to leave a review as we want to keep this place secret. Such a beautiful, private location. After a peaceful night under the stars with nothing but the sound of the gurgling creek we then spent the morning watching turtles and kingfishers while having a dip in the creek. Already booked again. Thanks for sharing your special place Alana.

Beautiful property, it was so relaxing setting up on the open grass area surrounded by the creek. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice quiet spot.
