Loved staying at Collits place! Jon was very responsive and the site is just beautiful. Getting there was a very easy and scenic drive. Although there are some houses around it feels very private and there are horses you can feed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jon was an excellent communicator, quick to respond and always happy to answer our many questions. The paddock was maintained, offering the privacy and peace we were looking for. We really appreciated that Jon respected our space; it truly felt like secluded, off-grid camping.
Access to the shed was a great bonus, and the hay provided for the kids to feed the animals was a lovely touch. Collits Place is also in a fantastic location, within walking distance to the The Lolly Bug Shop and Hartley Historic Village for a bit of exploring.
We had a beautiful weekend and would happily recommend it to other campers.

We really loved our stay! The hosts were very accommodating, and waking up each morning to the beautiful farm and animals was such a highlight — the kids absolutely loved it. It’s also in a great location, very close to town. Highly recommend!

This was such a perfect little spot to spend the night. The horses welcome you on arrival at the fence (very cute)! The site is located near a main ish road so a bright light does project into your tent a bit a night but other than that great location.

We enjoyed our time here, the tin shed provided shelter from the wind and some light showers!
There are miniature horses, llamas and some sheep which were friendly.
Location is great for exploring the blue mountains, will be back again!

$40 for a small paddock area. No wash up water or toilet…can just stop anywhere in the rest area in the state and will get toilet for free…

Collets place was easy to find ! Jon was amazing with answering questions we were not sure about and bringing food for our children to feed the animals! The kids had a blast so much space for them to ride their bikes ! So mum and dad where happy! Also close to scenic world which was an added plus for us!! Would definitely recommend for anyone to stay with jon !!

Great place to camp in the paddock. Jon was accomodating and we saw a kangaroo when we woke up which was quite thrilling for us french tourist visiting Australia. We recommand this place

Perfect spot to camp after a day of exploring and tackling the 4WD tracks around Lithgow. The location is peaceful and well set up, and the pizza just a short walk across the paddock was a great bonus, absolutely delicious. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic spot to stop over while travelling over the mountains. Quiet and great views and walking distance to the Pizza shop.
A little bit tight getting through to paddock with a big van.
Bonus bag of carrots that the kids absolutely loved feeding to the ponies!

Amazing host! We booked for a 3 nights but arrived 1 day later due to family emergency and Jon has kindly refunded that 1 night.
The site was a little muddy due to rain but it was a great experience for us. The view in the morning was amazing.
Jon left some hay for the kids and they absolutely loved feeding the animals.

Great spot. Recommended. Quiet and peaceful. Perfect base to explore blue mountains. Kids loved the animals and Jon brought them down some food to feed them. Paddock was pretty soggy after the recent rain to be expected but we still managed to find a semi dry spot to park on. Pizza a quick walk across the paddock which was delicious. Would stay again.

This place is so great! Beautiful property with mountain views, easy access and excellent hosts. A nice large flat area to set up your camp. No facilities, but for self contained set ups, it's fantastic. Ponies, sheep and alpacas in the paddock joining the camping area, and the owners are happy to supply food so the kids can feed them. It was a hit!

This was a great little stop for us, where we could base ourselves to go off and explore the surrounds & what the blue mountains has to offer.
Enjoyed the fact it was private and all to ourselves, even though the owners house is in the distance. Beautiful outlook.
Kids loved the animals.

I was lucky enough to bargain for a late checkout with the kind couple of Collits Place.
I used this time to explore the Pizza place next door, it is less than a 5 minute walk away and utterly divine!
I ate the pizza by the fire (I made myself) and watched the cute animals graze.
I would recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a cozy fun time; with near by bush trials and a restaurant it’s perfect for all walks of life.

Perfect spot for our family to stay so that we could visit the Blue Mountains area. Jon kindly provided some animal food so that the kids could feed the ponies and alpacas, they loved this.

I loved our stay. Great to be able to walk through the gate at the top of the paddock to the Pizza shop and the Cafe. Did all of our Blue Mountains walks from here.

A lovely spot surrounded by pony´s and alpacca´s. Jon provided some hay so that our kids could feed the animals. He provided also some firewood. A great place to discover the beauty of the Blue Mountains-area!
