We loved staying at Pepper Tree pony camp. Plenty of spaces for large groups. Katie’s dogs onsite are friendly. Toilet and shower are clean. Close to local shops. A great experience!

What a lovely place to stay, especially with all the horses and chickens. The hosts are amazing! We based ourself here for trips into the Blue Mountains and Train Ride into the city. Highly recommend.

Back to basics site. Added bonus of a shower which we had not expected.
The people we met were super friendly and totally chilled without late arrival and our late night after seeing fireworks on NYE in Sydney.
Don’t forget insect repellent 🤣

Overall we enjoyed camping here - the horses and the dogs were huge highlights for us. And a couple of visits from the friendly cat too :-) There wasn’t any signage on the road so we felt a bit awkward feeling like we were pulling into someone’s backyard, however Katie and her husband are really lovely, and it was a really quiet, private stay.
For anyone looking to go to Sydney, driving 25mins to park and ride the metro from Tallawong station was super easy and beats the traffic. Plus with max daily spend on the opal cards means it’s really easy to get around Sydney with all the public transport options (recommend the ferry from Barangaroo to Circular Quay so you get to go under the bridge).
This is an option for people to consider when they don’t want to stay the minimum number of nights required by other locations closer to Sydney during peak season.

Loved the site and the services offered. They did pick up the call even at 1am to help us out with the powered sites. Good morning view with friendly horses and dogs around.

Super friendly host, well behaved dogs. Lots of space, very nice amenities. Power and water available. Toilet and shower are clean. Trampoline for the kids and lots of land for your pet to play in!
Will definitely come back in the future.

What a hidden gem just an hour’s drive from Sydney! This campsite is amazing, offering everything you could imagine for a perfect getaway. Katie and her family are incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. The grassy area is spacious and perfect for hosting large groups. The facilities are very kid-friendly, with a trampoline, slide, and even horse rides to keep the little ones entertained. I highly recommend this place!

Our little family absolutely loved staying at this property. Beautiful scenery and waking up to the horses was amazing. Such friendly and down to earth hosts, always making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Horses a treat for the kids. Katie’s property is large so you don’t feel squished in. It’s an active horse farm with chicken, cats and dogs as well. Nice loop track in the middle paddock to walk (with dog if you have one) and most of the horses enjoy a pat. Can arrange pony rides for the kids too. There’s a flushing toilet which is accessed from outside, don’t expect it all to be squeaky clean because this is a farm property, grass and dirt is easy brought in on shoes. It’s perfectly fine :) Tip with the road - part of this street is gravel - but if you turn off before the unsealed part, you can easily detour around and stay on sealed roads. Would stay again!

The host was helpful and kind, but the camping site was surrounded by flies and located very close to buildings, an old junk truck, and a horse stable. It would have been preferable to camp in a more serene and pleasant environment.

Katie and Ryan were friendly hosts. Gave us a nice surprise of Easter eggs on Easter Sunday. Horses were all friendly and loved a pat. Good camp not far from Windsor.

Perfect farm stay, especially for the kids.
From the cute pony’s who enjoy all the attention from the kids to the mischievous kittens that set up camp with us, we had a great time.
Host was very accommodating and always available to ask questions if need be.
100% recommend and would definitely stay again

Only minutes away to shops and fast food restaurants, so don’t need to worry if you run out of food or not even bother to bring your own 😌

We have been so lucky to find this amazing little farm just an hour of Sydney. We’re from the UK on our honeymoon and spent 3 days at Katie’s gorgeous land. She was so accommodating, lovely and her family were adorable. From kittens/cats, gorgeous doggies and so many lovely horses it was such an amazing little escape from the city. With all the amenities you could need it really was perfect!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay on Katie and Ryan’s property. It was lovely and green with a nice outlook. Katie communicated well and Ryan greeted us to help us get parked. We even received a lovely Christmas gift from Katie!!

It was good but not as expected horses were very lovely place was super quiet and nice but could have done so much better on toilet as it was filthy and there wasn’t any water as it was mentioned there if we would have known we could have come prepared for water .

Within an hour of inner city Sydney, this horse farm has great potential for camping. We loved afternoon walks on the track around the dam.
Katie was really helpful, but was unfortunately away when we were there.
It is an active horse farm, so expect horse manure everywhere. Couldn’t find a spot to camp without it.
There was a toilet, but no hand basin. It’s also 300 - 400 metres from the back paddock where we camped. With little kids we had to drive to the toilet, which also involved opening and closing two gates on the way.
Water taps were hard too find. Only found one at the water tank near the toilets, and had to disconnect a hose to use. Wasn’t sure if it was drinkable.
Not a lot of shade either.
Would be great to have a little dedicated camp section fenced off in the paddock near the trees, to proved shade and a poo free spot to setup tents. And/or near the dam. We’d go back w

Wonderful three night stay at Peppertree. Very chilled and relaxing environment. Only an hour from Sydney so a great getaway. 5g signal which was great for us as we worked remotely for a day of our stay. How’s have is free fresh farm eggs, so that was a bonus.
Lovely dam to paddle in or float around on to cool down from the sun if needed. Lots of birds and ducks come visit and the horses around the paddock are very friendly and love a stroke or nuzzle. We went with friends who had small children and they spent the entire weekend off their devices, paddling, exploring having fun. Katie our host even organised pony rides and a feed the horse experience. The kids loved driving around in the back of the Ute on hay more than anything. Footprint free camping so make sure you take everything away. Highly recommend as Katie very accommodating to your requests.
