We really enjoyed camping here. The setting is picturesque and peaceful, the hosts are attentive and the amenities are thoughtfully provided. My son loved feeding the farm animals each evening - it was the highlight of each day for him.

Great location, convenient for Tathra and Bega. Fantastic view across the valley, and access to the river for swimming. Our host Ben loves and takes great care of all of his animals. The sites are nicely spaced out across the paddock so everybody has space. Being on top of a hill, sites can be exposed if there is a lot of wind.

Very relaxing space with amazing views and lovely hosts. Was an ideal spot after spending time at other busy campgrounds. If the toilets were upgraded from porter loos to built structures, this would be perfect.

Thanks for hosting us, what a magical place up on top of the hill! We enjoyed our fishing (not much catching!) and survived the rain! Great to meet you both and we look forward to visiting again!

We got caught out in a storm luckily the A Van was a perfect spot to get some respite. Lovely views, farm animals, wildlife. Highly recommend it!!

Shady rest
Shady rest is good for a shaded spot just mindful of branches windy. Property is tidy and easy to find. Toilets and rubbish cleaned and looked after on a regular basis. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Our experience at Peppers was amazing. It was such a beautiful spot with everything needed for a great camping experience. The site was clean, town water was available on site and toilets were clean and changed regularly. The hosts were really friendly and hospitable and made us feel very welcome on their beautiful property. The animal feeding was a great experience for the kids, and there was also plenty of wildlife we managed to see an echidna and plenty of kangaroos. Peppers was a great place to stay and we’ll be back. A big thank you to the lovely hosts for making the time so special.

This is a great campsite with a gorgeous view over the valley. There was plenty of flat ground for us to set up the rooftop tent, swag, chairs and table etc. super handy to have access to town water and a loo for the site. The river nearby was great for a swim!
I would definitely stay here again. The hosts were so lovely and gave us super helpful info for the local area

Brilliant spot, we stayed at Shady rest in a Tent. No issue with finding a flat spot. Needed a 4WD down to the river, which entertained us every afternoon for several hours, swimming and catching fish.
Ben is a legend, fed the animals with the kids for 3 nights running.
Will definitely be back next time we are down that way.

What a wonderful little place to enjoy an evening. Lovely views of the rolling hillside, toilets and bins handy.
Kids also loved the drive down to the water.

A beautiful, spacious camp site on a hill, overlooking the valley, with everything we needed. Easy access to the river for swimming, paddle boarding and wild life watching. Just a short drive to the beach and a great base for exploring the coast. Thanks for having us!!

We loved our stay in the Avan at Peppers. The location was lovely and peaceful, the van comfortable and well equipped and Ben the owner was very friendly and helpful.

Peppers farmstay is a must! It's such a beautiful location and top of the hill, which was really cool. Good spot to see stars.
It has toilets which is also kinda like luxury 😄 specially when you are always in a tent.
On arrival, we were welcome by Ben and he invited us to see his farm animals been fed. That was a cool thing to see.

Adored our stay (though short as it was) there is a short walk down the hill to a valley which was one of the most magical views I’ve seen in the flesh and Ben our host was extremely attentive and helpful, even giving us a small amount of fire wood (just enough for the one night we were there for!)
would absolutely stay again if in that part of NSW again!

Peppers Farmstay What an incredible location! 🌿🐄 1000% recommended! For day one of our trip, we stopped at this amazing farm stay in NSW, just out of Tathra and wow, it did not disappoint! Not only were the views absolutely stunning, but the property itself had so much to offer. From the friendliest cows you’ll ever meet to their very own river with a boat ramp, it’s a little slice of paradise. There’s plenty of open space for the kids (and adults!) to run around and, yes, it’s dog-friendly too! our fur babies were in heaven! 🐶For the kids:One of the highlights was the farm animal feeding. My daughter had the biggest smile on her face as she fed the animals! definitely a core memory made! 🥰If the weather had been on our side, we would have spent the evening by the cozy fireplaces located at every site, but the rain had other plans. Even so, it didn’t take away from the experience one bit.If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful scenery, space to breathe, and plenty to keep the kids (and dogs!) entertained, I cannot recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Great location for a coastal visit to Tathra and nearby, stayed for 3 nights. Camp sites along a ridge with fire pits (byo wood but plenty of sticks to collect as starters) spaced about 20mtrs from each other with easy drive in access. For those who need it, there a couple of clean porta-loos, bins for rubbish and recycling, and town water is available near the sites which are bonuses. Good communication with Roanna and Ben. There is a walk down to the river, but we didn’t make it with the weather - next time.

Roanna and Ben's property was a fabulous short stay. The kids loved being able to pet and groom the horses and see the cows and goats. The property itself was beautiful with a short walk to the river which was very peaceful and scenic. Tathra beach was also a great stop which was less than a 10min drive. The site had good toilet facilities and easily accessible tap water to use. Would definitely recommend this place to stay.

The view was no short of spectacular. Surrounded by absolute serentity in a very well groomed camping area, so private that we only had 2 friendly neighbours. We were greeted on arrival, given advice and purchased some declicous farm fresh eggs and firewood. Every detail was thought of, illuminated water taps at night, clean toilet and fire pit ready to go. I couldn't recommend this place more highly, it was the perfect get away for 3 adults and 2 kids. Close to town and any supplies you might need. The friendliest Hip camp hosts ever :)
