We had a fantastic stay at OKA, site was clean, peaceful and a beautiful place. Kellie, Rod and Ruby were welcoming friendly and helpful. This place is an absolute delight. Very peaceful and welcoming. Me and the kids loved playing with the dog, walking around the property and making use of the shared covered area and kitchen facilities. The shower was a great bonus to wash the sand away at the end of the day. We will definitely be back :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our couple of nights at OKA. Beautiful peaceful location with majestic trees filled with staghorns and a lovely dam with pretty water lilies. The facilities are well maintained and the camp kitchen is amazing - complete with chandeliers and lots of eclectic things to look at. Kellie and Rod were very welcoming as was their beautiful dog Ruby.

We had an amazing time at Our Kindred Acres. It’s really beautiful and the kids had a ball. I love the rustic feel to the place. The outdoor shower was so cool! And not to mention the gorgeous set up in and outside of the big shed. It was so magical at night with all off the lights the kids loved it. It was such a relaxing vibe and we can’t wait to come back!

We had such a wonderful stay at this campsite! The location is peaceful, clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The facilities were well maintained, and everything was super easy and convenient. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We spent 3 nights over the October long weekend with our Labrador Bailey and absolutely loved it. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the facilities and amenities are top notch. Kellie and Rod are very accommodating. great hosts. We have already booked our next stay.

I would give this lovely place 6 stars if I could! Definitely the pinnacle that all Hipcamps could aim towards. We loved our 3 nights at OKA. Kel & Rod & Ruby the heeler were excellent hosts. Lovely grassy, shady & carefully managed uncrowded sites. Great for dogs. Lots to explore in the area but we didn’t stray far as it was just a beautiful place to relax by the fire, surrounded by bush & birdsong.

Really great place. Lovely hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Camp kitchen and showers / toilets all clean and worked well. Shower was just dreamy. Chooks, lovely dog, birdsong, great walks, close to awesome swim spot, super friendly owners,,,,,what's not to love. Highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming campsite that truly felt like a slice of paradise. Nestled in the heart of nature, this campsite offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Kellie and Rod, who are incredibly helpful and approachable. Their warm demeanour made me feel right at home. During my stay, the footy finals were on and Rod rigged up a TV in the beautifully appointed camp kitchen area for the guests to watch the games over the weekend. It's rare to find someone so attentive to their guests' needs, and it truly made my stay memorable. Waking up each morning to the gentle sounds of birds chirping was a magical experience. The campsite is beautifully surrounded by lush greenery, and the peaceful ambiance allowed me to unwind completely, I felt completely immersed in nature. This campsite is a hidden gem that offers not only a stunning natural setting but also exceptional hospitality and well-appointed clean facilities. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the great outdoors. I look forward to a return stay!

A beautiful spot for a weekend away! Kellie & Rod were great hosts, their place is the perfect spot for a relaxing few days. So quiet & secluded yet so close to town. The camp kitchen was amazing, the toilets also super clean & a great addition. The whole place is maintained very well! We hope to return again sometime!

We only had 2 nights and unfortunately the weather did us no favors, but the large camp kitchen area with great fire allowed us to still spend a fun day playing cards games etc with the well stocked area Great flat area to set up and enjoy the serenity… Despite being a “ little” more expensive than other places it’s definitely worth it and we will be back !! Great hosts in Kelly and Rod 😊

We just had a couple of nights at this gem. What a place ! Kellie and Rod are amazing hosts. From the time we arrived to our time to depart they are all about you enjoying this awesome Hipcamp. You cannot be disappointed with this place. The grounds are so well kept and the 220 m2 of under cover camp kitchen with fire place that allows you even in bad wet cold days to enjoy yourself. The kitchen has everthing you will need if you happen to not be fully set up yourself You get to enjoy amazing walks through some great tracks that can be as long or short to suit your needs. Dump point 10 mins away. This is only 8 mins from the little town of Buladelah that has everything you need plus some great eatery’s. Go for a drive to Mungo Brush and jump on the ferry and drive to Tea gardens. Plenty to see and enjoy. But it’s hard to leave this property with what it has to offer. If you have friends that don’t have a camp set up the have incredible onsite options for them to join you. Thanks so Much Kellie and Rod for allowing us to etch an incredible memory in our lives. We will be back

A hidden paradise with kind hosts

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at O.K.A. From the very start, Kellie and Rod were incredibly kind and understanding. I had made a mistake with our booking date, and without hesitation they reassured us it was no problem at all and didn’t even charge us again. When we arrived, we realized we were missing an adaptor and extension cord for our camper van, and Rod immediately came over with both, plus even helped us light our fire by bringing charcoal already burning. Their generosity and thoughtfulness truly made us feel at home. And then, the place itself… an absolute paradise. Beautiful, peaceful, low key, perfectly kept, with everything you could hope for. The outdoor shower was a dream .Hot water, open sky, birds singing, trees around us. We respected the 3 minute limit to care for the water, but it was so magical we could have stayed forever. The whole atmosphere of O.K.A. carries Kellie’s and Rod’s philosophy, a space to respect, care for, and share. We felt invited into their way of living, and it made us want to protect the land as if it were our own. We were lucky to also have a clear winter night under the moonlight, it felt like the entire place was just ours. We would recommend O.K.A. a thousand times over, and we would return a thousand times over. Places like this are rare, and people like Kelly and Rod make it even more special.

Ohhh my gosh! This camp site is an actual gem! The photos do not do it justice. When we arrived we could not believe how beautiful the spot was. There was a huge communal shed which had a massive kitchen, living room with multiple couches, massive dining table, multiple bar tables and 360 views of the entire property. We booked very last minute on a trip through and wish we were able to stay longer. Dean the caretaker was so lovely, he greeted us on arrival and had even set up a fire for us. He showed us around the massive site. Couldn’t believe there were multiple pre-set campers with their own decks and very private (would for sure book one of these next time, very fancy). There was also a self constructed outdoor, open air shower (with hot water) made by the very talented Dean. It was so fancy with saloon lights and open top (walls for privacy), very luxurious. And a very clean portaloo. The resident puppies Stevie and Ruby were also very welcoming and kept us company all morning. Beautiful space, will for sure be back very soon and would love to bring the extended fam as well!
