Morpeth Glamping
We had a great stay! Beautiful spot on the river and our dogs had a lovely time swimming and running free. Thanks for having us.

Morpeth Glamping
Grassed site by the river
Clean tidy grass sites well mowed on the edge of the river. Great outlook to the river. Only issue was the 2-3m edge drop off to the river, so no easy access to the river. Take an awning as there are no trees on the sites, so no natural shade or protection from the wind. Good fire pits provided at each site. It's very close to Morpeth on the other side of the river, go for a great pub feed at the Commercial Hotel. Good location to base yourself to visit the surrounding attractions and Morpeth. SoundVision was on the Saturday night on the banks of the river at Morpeth. It was a great nights entertainment with some goods acts playing. Only downer was coming back to our camper after the concert to find a massive bonfire burn off by the owners which smoked us out all evening.

Morpeth Glamping
Overall, it's a base to allow you to explore elesewhere. We had expected to meet and greet with the owner/host. However there was no contact at all. Improved signage would be helpful to navigate as entry into the property was confusing, none existent. The facilities description doesnt quite hit expectations; there were really no practical entry points to swim or launch a kayak despite details provided on the site description. A late night burn off from the owners caused the campsite to be smoked out which was not ideal. River was a nice outlook, campground was slashed, and the pleasant river breeze was a welcome summer cooler.

Relaxing spot with great views
This spot is amazing. Such a beautiful view of the river. A lot of bird life to watch & lots of turtles in the river. We caught a decent brim (& a few eels) & also saw an eagle swoop down & snatch lunch from the river. Very well maintained site, flat, mowed sites which are a good distance from each other. Mick was a great host, giving us the hot tip on the best spot & also pointing out some firewood for our use. We loved our stay & will probably become regulars being a short drive from home. Highly recommend this spot for both short & long stays.

Nice grassy area with river frontage. Lynda was great to communicate with and was very friendly, even bringing our firewood and fire starter down to us.

Underrated
Such a well looked after block, with beautiful views of the river, definitely bringing fishing rods and a kayak for next time
