Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
The three campsites are in our front paddock nestled away from houses and the main road. They are all close to the gate. The paddock contains a stringybark forest and grassy box woodland with many wildflowers in spring. You will share the paddock with birds and wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, sugar gliders and the occasional wombat. There are two shallow dams with frogs and yabbies. You may find roof tiles that are part of a lizard monitoring project (please leave!). From the hill at the front you can look out to One Tree Hill on the ACT border and the Brindabella Range. We are providing no facilities so come self sufficient. Close by is the village of Hall. Canberra is 25 minutes away. Local attractions include Poachers Pantry, Murrumbateman Chocolates, wineries and the Centennial Trail that takes in the northern boundary of the ACT.

This is the top site (elevated) so pass site 1 and 2 as you come through the gate marked ‘camping’ turning to your right. Pass through two old timber gate posts and you have a semi secluded spot, large enough for a car to turn around in, park and set up a tent.

Pass through the gate marked ‘Camping’ (approximately 200m down the property drive, on the LHS). Turn right, drive up the hill on the track close to the forest. Just before the old timber gate posts is Site 3. Please leave access through the gate posts for Site 2

Very quiet spot, quite tricky to get the car to the site if your car has low clearance like mine but not too much trouble. Quite a few mosquitos as well so be prepped for that. Beautiful stargazing
