Oberon Showground Campsite
Oberon showgrounds NSW.
Excellent, plenty of space, amenities are great (showers are a set temp, push timer tap) , good water temp and pressure.
Some level areas, but levelling ramps required/recommended.

HAPPY CAMPER
Great place to camp. Attractive and Clean (and cleaned a number of times daily it seems) Amenities Block with lovey hot water showers and flushing toilets - with a good brand toilet paper would you believe? Disabled are also well catered for.
Pet friendly for pets on leash.
Reasonable rates, pleasant area and not to far to walk to town for supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, op shops and anything else you might need.
Great base camp from which to venture to Mayfield Gardens, Oberon Dam, Jenolan Caves (when the road is open) and surrounds.
The days are lovely but very cool at night so I would suggest extra warmer bedding than you would expect to take. Don't trust BOM for minimum temperature advice!

Oberon Showground Campsite
Must stop for a visit!
The people who run and maintain the campground here are legends! We love staying in Oberon and getting to know all the friendly locals. What a bonus that we can camp in the middle of town with hot showers and flushing toilets. We came for the bull futurity and it did not disappoint! What a great weekend. Thanks for having us guys. We will be back for the rodeo! x

Oberon Showground Campsite
Showgrounds base camp in Oberon
The Oberon Showgrounds camping was great. Lots of space, power, water and well equiped amenities and fire pits permitted outside of total fire bans (BYO fire pit and wood). Close to the town centre and a great location to have a base camp to then explore Oberon and its surrounds. Don’t forget to bring 1 or 2 sets of levelling aids as the Showgrounds campsites aren’t level. Lovely to see the horses going around the track, lovely locals and fabulous to be there for the monthly markets. Would be happy to stay again in the future.
