Nugget & Brumby’s sits on 83 acres of box gum grassy woodlands, natural springs, and open skies near Larbert, an hour from Canberra, between Bungendore and Braidwood on Walbanga country, Yuin Nation in NSW. Once used for grazing sheep and cattle, part of the land is cleared while the remainder is Eucalyptus box grassy woodlands—an endangered ecological community. These woodlands, featuring White Box, Yellow Box, and Blakely’s Red Gum, along with native grasses, herbs, and scattered shrubs, were once widespread but are now heavily cleared, making their conservation vital for biodiversity. One day, this land will host for-purpose events— conferences, retreats, creative residencies, and community gatherings—rooted in sustainability, connection, and care for Country. The tent is part of this vision: completely off-grid, and designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and experience the beauty and stillness of this unique land.

Nugget and Brumby's is a cosy two-person tiny caravan perfect for those craving stillness and starry skies. Nestled between Braidwood and Bungandore, the property is situated in 83 acres of peaceful luscious bush teeming with kangaroos, wombats and other native wildlife. The caravan is off-the-grid, but you'll have access to solar powered electricity and composting toilets. Water from the rainwater tank is available, and you may use the outdoor shower or bath. You're welcome to a bottle of wine, but there are strictly no parties on the property.
