The site is on the edge of the small town of Howlong, which sits alongside the Murray River—perfect for outdoor pursuits such as birdwatching, canoeing/kayaking, and fishing. Nearby are the historic town of Chiltern and the wineries of Rutherglen. You may also be visiting for a horse event, another popular activity in the area. Howlong has a supermarket, pubs, a bakery, a cafe, a library, an op shop, a chemist, a post office, a newsagent, takeaway food shops, and service stations.Several shady trees to chose from, water hook up available from shed and you can make use of the fire pit. Water trough (old bath) available for animals.
