Located 4 kms from the centre of Coonamble NSW only 2 hours from Dubbo and 2 hours from Lightning Ridge. We are 200 metres off the Castlereagh Highway. We are a typical country family on a small rural property 30 acres with goats, horses, chooks, rabbits, guinea pigs. Call in for a cuppa billy tea and a yarn about our community we also have a shed full of stories over 40 years of our own private collection.

    Best as a caravan overnight stop
    Nakadoo Camping
    Karren was very accommodating with change of dates due to weather. Nakadoo is not a site that you would plan on having a holiday, but I recommend it for an overnighter if you are passing through the area. Has an excellent shower/toilet facility and also use of washing machine. Best suited as a caravan overnight stop.

    More a hobby farm and heavy vehicle storage than working farm feel.. Host felt uncomfortable with Hipcamp experience.

    Karren is a wealth of local knowledge and so passionate about the area. The shed is full of old farming tools & memorabilia well worth a visit. Free to camp around the fire pit. Donations can be made. Lovely clean toilet & shower. We will definitely be back to spend more time investigating the area

    Warm & friendly, Karen is the best host. Great overnight stopover. Fascinating collection of old farming tools, reminded me of my grandfather's farm. Wonderful campfire, too.
