If you love camping, fishing & kayaking, you'll love it here! Welcome to our 170 acre property with approx 1 km of Deua River frontage. Lovely grassy campsites by the water. Want to throw a line in? The river is tidal and we are located where the freshwater meets the salt making for some interesting fishing, fresh and saltwater fish have been caught here. We offer peaceful dog-friendly camping. There are no amenities so campers must be self- contained and leave no trace. Campfires are permitted when restrictions aren't in place and firewood available to purchase by the wheelbarrow load (see extras). Good access - tents, camp trailers, campervans & caravans all are welcome as long as you have own toilet. Our farm is home to some beef cattle, horses, sheep, dogs, cats, chickens, & pet guinea pigs . We also have an abundance of wildlife including wombats, possums, kangaroos and many native birds & some reptiles.

Site 2 - Riverfront Campsite
Too good to share
Would love to keep this place a secret as I always want to be able to turn up at Site 2 at a moments notice. The swimming hole is fabulous, as is the view and the hosts. A great time was had by all!

Peaceful Camping on Site 1
Lovely farm to camp on and site 1 has a gorgeous view over the river and is only a short walk to the river for swimming. Other sites are a longer walk away. This site also has some trees providing afternoon shade. The porta loo is also close by but far enough away to still keep the camp private. Sites are about 100-150 metres apart. Sue is a friendly host and we loved the cows and the sounds of their moo’s! 🐮 🐄

Site 3 - Riverfront Campsite
Great spot
The farm is so beautiful and was a lovely spot to watch the summer storms roll through. The tall row of trees on the river bank kept us very cool and shaded during the heat of the morning. We swam a lot in the river and our kids loved watching the cows in the neighbouring paddock stroll past. The sites are very well kept, there was a porta loo onsite and the owners were there to greet us and show us to our site. We had a great stay!

Perfect riverfront getaway
This Hipcamp is terrific. Sue and Andy are super nice and helpful. They keep a very clean and tidy property, in a stunning location at the end of a quiet road. The river was clear - loads of fish and a young seal had even been swimming right up to their property on the hunt for the plentiful food. Andy told us they had experienced some damage along their bank over recent years of flooding, and they have done some expensive remedial work including placing some huge cut boulders to support the bank. These served as great places to sit in the sun, and enter the river from! The sites are spaced out maybe 50m or so apart? It was busy when we were there over the new years break, with campers coming and going and all sites booked, yet it still felt very peaceful. Lush, grassy (and cut) sites. Great moveable fire pits. You can kayak all the way from their property to the the river mouth if you are fit enough. Highly recommend.
