Owned and run by our family for over 20 years. We have loved the farm so much we decided others should get to experience it too and let them get out and take in the peace and serenity of being in nature. We offer 8 spacious campsites as well as a self sufficient cabin overlooking stunning sunset views to the west of our property. We also have a communal flushable toilet for our campers for those who don't have their own camp toilets. Escape the busy city life and come light a campfire and watch the sunrise and sunset, enjoy the amazing views, wildlife and keep an eye out for koalas in the trees. Bathurst is known for motorsports thanks to Mount Panorama, one of the world’s most famous circuits. It hosts a number of international racing events, including the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Bathurst 1000. When it's not being used for a race, the public can take a spin around the course and visit wineries along the track. Visit the National Motor Racing Museum, right next to the track. The Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum boasts a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton and the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery is home to a wonderful collection of Australian paintings and contemporary artworks. Spend the day in Bathurst by seeing many of the amazing sites including the famous Ben Chiffley Dam and spend the day on the water and even a short drive to Rockley to visit the famous pub now owned by Matt Moran. The Back Creek site is secluded and surrounded by native bush land with a designated firepit. Be off the grid and isolated from others while you take in the peaceful surrounds. Play spot the Koala, this place is know to have many Koalas. Warning not suitable for kids and caution must be taken due to mineshafts nearby in the dense bushland. A 4wd or Awd vehicle is required for access. Site does require some leveling if you want to be next to the fire but in the trees is level for your tent or van.

Koala hill new location is private and away from the main road. Own private access road seperate to all the other camp sites. So no dusty roads anymore. This is known for Koalas keep an eye out . Large flat area to set up your retreat away from home, where you can watch the sun rise and sun set elevated at the highest campsite. Unfortunately the best views do have to have a sacrifice, this site is the furthest from the toilets, but its only a short drive or a long walk. Alternatively, bring your own toilet. Site can get abit dusty from other campers. Recommended one night stays or stay abit further down at another site just message us.

This offgrid solar powered square drop camper, Allows you to be isolated from others while you take in the peaceful surroundings or camp with friends and relax while you watch them set up. It features a queen sized bed for two people, just bring your sleeping bag and pillows. Perfect site for family and friends and plenty of room to spread out across the paddock just add on some people and your good to enjoy your time away. We also have a tent in the camper to use for your kids or friends so extra two people can come but need to tell us and add to booking so we know.

We had a fantastic weekend at Wooden Valley at Mt Testa! We had a large family group who thoroughly enjoyed the ruggedness and pristine peace and quite of Wooden Valley including the wildlife, spectacular stargazing and beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The kids could ride their bikes, play, run free and just be kids, safely on our very well maintained site and paddock nearby. Michael was a great host and his instructions to the site were spot on. Looking forward to visiting again in the future. Awesome host who's instructions to the site were

Such value for money and a great site to use, flat ground, it’s exposed so it is a bit windy but it’s easy to block yourself in. Far from the main roads so it’s really quiet. Great sunrise in the morning and stars at night. Plus, we saw a Wombat & a Koala on the private road up to the site! Worth the money for those opportunities alone :)

Absolutely picture perfect bush camping. The other campers on site were a long way away, so well spaced. The property was well maintained by Michael and he responded quickly every time we messaged him. Cannot recommend highly enough

BACK CREEK
This is my second time back and to one of their other sites, another lovely relaxing weekend! Stayed in back creek this time lovely secluded spot away from the other sites, would definitly recommend it Saw lots of kangaroos driving in and managed to find a kola as well as had a brown snake come through camp so watch out when it’s warming up Only negative I could say is it can be a bit tricky to get a level area as it’s on a slope down hill

Second time staying at Mt Testa and amazing once again. Views are amazing, toilets are clean and well maintained. Sites are spread out around the property. Fire pits at every site (was even set up upon arrival which was a lovely surprise). Highly recommend this hidden gem and will be back again.

Michael was very accommodating and has a lovely piece of land. Next time I'll for sure pick Koala Hill 2.0 Enjoy the drive down the dirt road on the way in, and keep an eye out for wildlife, I spotted an echidna on my way in, and had Kangaroos for neighbours on Stargazing Flat. Was a great space to take my dog, and she was able to run free without bothering anyone thanks to the privacy of the sites.

Mount Testa Campground is a fantastic spot! Clean sites, easy directions, and plenty of firewood. The sites are well spaced, and the flushing toilets were spotless. Definitely a campground I’ll be returning to!

HILL VIEW
The Hill View campsite was absolutely beautiful. The site was very spacious and clean and the views were gorgeous. The campsites were very far apart and our dog had plenty of trees to sniff around behind us. It rained quite a bit on our trip so the ground was a little muddy but it was a great time, nonetheless. Thank you Michael! We will definitely be back again.

WOODEN VALLEY
It was our 1st time camping here. Wooden valley camp was a great spot with AMAZING VIEWS, close to toilets. We seemed to be the only ones camping there at the time so it was so quiet and peaceful around the property. Nice size area for our camper van set up. Our dog had a great time there. Plenty of firewood supplied and also some not far away. Loved this spot.

Lots of space between camp sites and beautiful views as far as you can see! We stayed at the Hill View site which was especially good for nighttime star gazing. Plenty of kangaroos around too. Facilities were simple and clean and a bonus book library to borrow and trade from.

Lots of space with beautiful views, camping on the hill view site gave us a great look over the vast green landscape and was perfect for nighttime skies! Book library was a nice touch and the facilities were tidy too. Plenty of kangaroos and some cows on the drive in as well.

Camped at the Stargazing Flat in the middle of June and felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Didn’t see another soul so we had a very peaceful and secluded camping experience. Easy to navigate, clean running toilets, breathtaking scenery. Already planning to come back again!

We booked one of Michael's site over the Kings holiday & it was an amazing site. We had a group of 10 with an abundance of space & the views from the camp site were spectacular. Michael was extremely accomodating & was fast to respond to any issues. This is my second time camping at Mount Testa and would recommend Michaels property to anyone!

KOALA HILL 2.0
Mount Testa is a favourite of ours. This is our third visit, this time at Koala Hill, although we didn't see any koalas this time as it was very windy and snowing! The views are fantastic, the wildlife and birdlife is terrific. Michael is a wonderful host, enthusiastic and really helpful. We will be going back again for sure.

This is a lovely, lovely place. The view!!! 100% recommend this spot. So much wildlife. And special mention to the toilets. Luxury for a camp. These are the best I have see and kudos to the hosts for a brilliant setup. It is accessible in 2wd cars. Just go slow. Take lots of firewood. If the wind is up, the site can eat wood due to the wind. Making a windbreak is recommended and will save you wood. SO BEAUTIFUL!!! If you want a quiet, beautiful camp. Go no further.

DOLCE VITA CAMPER
Camped at Dulce Vita. Beautiful views..distant mountains...sheep and goats in the paddock next door but especially a family of wedge tail eagles who must live close by. Magnificent. It was a fairly level site but not flat and would offer some shade in summer. Our stay was in May so pretty cold but plenty of sun on this site and a nice time of year as there are no flies and the Autumn colours of trees on the road to Bathurst make the drive to and from memorable. We had a nosy at the other sites so we knew where to stay next time. The sites mostly face east so you get the beautiful morning sun but if you want to escape the arvo heat then Hill View...Koala Hill...Wooden Valley....Back Creek would offer some shade. Next time we return in winter we would stay at Mountain View. Nice big flat site..tucked away privately in the corner of the paddock with sun all day. We needed good Optus phone coverage which we got. Overall a great stay and look forward to another visit. As a side note..make sure you stop at FoodWeDo...just on the outskirts of Bathurst on the way to Mt Testa. Great pies and superb in house baked pastries. Perfect for around the fire later that evening. You wont be sorry.

Stayed at koala hill 2.0 and was beautiful. Spacious space with a some decent level ground to set up on. Grounds were well maintained and amenities were clean. Directions and instructions from host were super clear and the place was easily found.

Was a lovely little spot, we managed to get a spot with some trees for some privacy and shade. Awesome fire pit and plenty of wood around to burn. Short drive or long walk to flushing toilets! Have already recommended to family and friends and will be back for sure! Host very accomodating too
