Loved our week's stay!! Peaceful and relaxing listening to all the birds and were lucky to be there at a time when water was flowing in the creek. Made a great base camp to explore the area. Many thanks for allowing us to stay Lucy

Chestnut Grove Campsite
Lovely hosts and big private space, beautiful chestnut trees and lots of firewood available. However $40 a night seems high for having no toilet or view. Luckily we booked our night on a mid week discount.

Beautiful peaceful spot beside some gorgeous chestnut trees. Short walk down a pebbly dry creek bed to the lovely towamba river. You'll need a 4wd to get back out if it has rained. Quite steep access on grass for part of the way.
