I loved camping at Misty Mountain Kunghur as it is a fantastic campsite that offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you're looking to unwind in nature or embark on an adventure, this campsite has something for everyone. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable camping experience in New South Wales.
Amazing views! Large property with various sites and some open shelters available. The caretaker was friendly and helpful. They make a big effort to maintain the quiet and serene environment.
I had a lovely overnight stay at Misty Mountain. I was looking just to get away for some peace and quiet and boy did I find it. I stayed in Zone 4, but after the fishing dam. No views, but very quiet and a massive site all to myself. Was just me and the campfire and some very bright stars in the sky.
Loved everything! Everything was clean and well-prepared. The owners are awesome - always willing to offer advice or help. Great experience! :)
Small tip: bring your own tablets and chairs.
Best campsite I’ve ever been too, amazing views and so much to do, walks, swimming, the games room, the fishing dam and the lake with canoes. Loved this place will definitely be back.
We stayed in our caravan on camp ground 1.
Directions were great with signs pointing to every area. Peaceful and secluded with lots of area for our dogs to be off leash. Amenities were rustic, clean with flushing toilets and hot showers.
We checked out the other sites 2&4 that had amazing views, and the look out for spectacular sunsets. We will return to enjoy another stay.
Thoroughly recommend this place!!!!
