The camp sites are well spaced, green grass area, shaded trees and right next to the river. Excellent.

Great Spot and Hosts,
Really enjoyable 3 days fishing the river all the way up to Forster, nice to get back to camp and enjoy a few dinner and a few beers around the fire, will definatley be back.

The camp area was very well set out. Great fishing straight in front of camp area . Wasn’t too overcrowded the caretakers were so helpful. Great spot be back again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not the owners problems but this is Boganville! All the bogans head here on weekends, June long weekend techno music and doof doof music plating at night, dogs barking and kids running through campsites Sheesh, no space given at the banks for fishing which is annoying constantly getting tangled from fishing dipsticks, just show some respect and move down the bank...
Hosts polite and friendly upon booking and bags of wood for $20 ok value

We stayed at Minimbah camp ground in our caravan with a group of people. Our kids had fun fishing, crabbing, kayaking and bike riding around the camp grounds. We had a beautiful warm campfire at night and watched the stars while making memories. Pet friendly too. The camp grounds were not overly packed and it was reasonably quiet and no hooligans yahooing. Only downfall was no dumping point and you had to take your owe water. The only toilet is a long drop but other than that we made such fun memories and we will be back with our boat.

Elysha and Craig caretakers are awesome, very helpful and friendly, they maintain the campgrounds really well. Amazing, cant describe this little peace of paradise enough. River fishing plenty of fish and crabs. Kayaking, swimming, hiking and bike riding and more. No over crowding just the right amount of people. Short trip to Nabiac for caravan dump point and water top up and grab a coffee and visit the bakery and other shops. The campgrounds are level and peaceful. Love seeing the horses,cattle and sheep and the owners are quiet friendly. Thankyou for an awesome long weekend. Will book again soon. Very good for families our group were ages 5 to 69yrs and everyone wanted to stay longer. Thankyou for the great time

Beautiful camping spot on the river, it was very relaxing. We were fortunate enough to have the place to ourselves. Great spot to go and forget about the hustle and bustle of life for a moment. A fish cleaning table near the boat ramp would be a good addition. Keen to go back with some family and friends in the future. Thanks for having us x

We were lucky enough to have this beautiful campground all to ourselves. With the main campground situated right along the river, you have beautiful views of the flowing water amidst the greenery. The campground is a little ways away from the main buildings and lodge, so quite private. Plenty of space for multiple groups, with a large flat cleared area, bins available and a boat ramp for convenient access to the waterways. We will most definitely be back with our boat another time, thank you for having us!

Had a great time at Minimbah Fishing Lodge. Was the perfect spot to catch up with some old mates, relax, and enjoy the water. We managed to land a few fish and even pulled in some crabs, which made it even better. Great atmosphere, easygoing vibe. Will definitely be back.

Such a great time camping, and for us we were extremely fortunate to be the only campers that weekend, We situated right on the river bed, the campsites are all flat and level. We had our dog and our fire and relaxed while fishing eating and drinking,
We are set up for off grid camping , so it was perfect for us . Fishing was fun , they organised fire wood for us Bonus! Wish we had more days ! The night sky was cool also ! Would definitely go back !

My partner and I came out for the night. It was a beautiful and very quiet spot right on the water. Plenty of space.
The mosquitos are pretty bad so come prepared.

We had a great time at this spot in our caravan with our dog
10/10 for the location, fishing and Ron was a legend! Getting firewood delivered was a nice touch aswell

We really enjoyed our stay it wasn’t overcrowded, had easy access to the boat ramp we could put our boat in and leave it tied up out of the way which was handy with a roof top tent set up, but would be a different story I guess if everyone took a boat loved the fact it was only a 2 hour drive for us and we’ll be returning with our adult children soon for a small family escape, be sure to pack the bug spray but you would expect that with being on the water. Definitely book in when you get the chance you won’t be disappointed and if you are then maybe camping isn’t for you. I have no comment on the drop box we packed our own toilet

Amazing fishing and great flat well maintained campsite. Hosts were very welcoming. Great 3 days of quiet kayak fishing and stand up paddling.

Camping at minimbah was fantastic, right on the river with a great view each day, easy access with a boat great swimming area and plenty of crabs and fish to catch , we camped as a group and we all loved it and will be definitely back ,
Ron & Elysha are great hosts and keep a great lodge for all ages to enjoy.

I just the whole aspect of the place. It was just so easy. Even befriended a little goanna kind of. I actually caught fish which we bought home to eat tonight. But it was a lovely stay snd thankyou I already have recommended it.
