Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround. It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views. As of September 2024, all the trails on the property have been massively upgraded and are passable with a 2WD car. If you're towing or it's wet we still recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. We've just (mid December) added a spa half way up the driveway. It can be booked through the extras. We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with.

Suspended in the trees - hammock
First Night
Ian is a good host, he met us and showed us where to stay. 👍🏡 It is a beautiful place in the forest, quiet, secluded. 🌲🌳🏞️ We were offered an extensive menu for the morning and to explore the beautiful views of this ranch. 🍳🌄 It is a place for peace and soul under the crowns of tall trees. 🧘‍♀️🙏🌲

Bushy Camping with a Difference
Great location and amenities. The camp sites are cut out of the thick bush on a pretty steep property giving them great views. Ian, the owner, is very friendly and entrepreneurial. He has equipt the property with many conveniences you'd not expect in a camp site. Like a spa with solar powered lights and heating! Ian has setup fast WiFi across most of the property and there's also decent mobile reception. Our campsite, the Dugout, also had 240VAC mains power, supplied from the house solar power station. Ian also provided a massive tank of filtered drinking water for our site. His adorable dog Lana will most likely pay you a visit. She's the closest thing to human in a dog body. Although you can get to some sites with a 2WD/AWD, I'd highly recommend a 4WD. Especially if it is wet. We managed to get to the Dugout capsite in a little Audi A1, but it was bone dry when we were there. Most camping involves primative toilet facilities! Having a flushing loo that doesn't smell was a plesent surprise. Each site has one of these easy to use contraptions enclosed in a private little tent. In Janurary 2025 the cicadas were very loud at times during the day - Ian supplied ear-plugs. Most of the time there is just a plathora of simultaneous bird calls. We had a fantastic time at the property. Very relaxing. Ian and Clare are wonderful hosts who looked after our every need. We're keen to come back and explore their bush walking tracks and other facilites.

We had a good camper van experience on the upper terrace. Ian was very welcoming and his doggie Lana is adorable. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly - very ‘back to nature’.
