Discover 528 acres of Wollumbin paradise. McKenzies Mountain is run by a sixth generation pioneer family, and boasts a kilometer of river frontage, four kilometers interspersed with waterfalls and rockpools, over a hundred acres of pristine rainforest, and a 2000 ft elevation mountain peak. Plus it's home to 125 head of cattle. It's simply a magical country camping spot. There is plenty to do, including swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and crystal fossicking. Just next door, within walking distance, is the Hare Krishna farm, where they run Hare Krishna farm tours, workshops, and Yoga retreats. Platypus Walkway
Nature filled solo camp
I enjoyed tent camping at McKenzie’s Mountain! I was camping solo and felt very safe. There were a few others on the land but it still felt private and secluded. The platypus waterhole, stream, mini rapids, mountains and cows were all highlights. The porta-loos were very clean and James was a friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay again!

Big Fig Lower Camp
Wouldn’t recommend this if you’re looking for a quiet peaceful stop. Seems like a party hip camp. Campsite full of guys near us were playing loud music all day. Then there was a doof party at night in the paddock behind us within the same hip camp with about 100 cars and loud music still going at 5:30am the next morning when we got sick of it and packed up and left. Nice property though and the owner was pleasant and responsive to our questions before we arrived.
