La'Connor Ridge is a working regenerative farm, set on 150 acres of Australian bushland. The campsite is away from daily activities, surrounded by bush, and features a rustic (empty) glamping tent and composting toilet. There is space for up to three additional tents and cars, an outdoor firepit, a dam and a seasonal creek. Firewood is available at $20 a bag. The property is at the end of a dead end road, 20 minutes from Paterson, an hour from Newcastle and 2.5 hours from Sydney. We are a LandforWildlife nature reserve, so there are plenty of wallabies, a vast array of birds, lots of local cows to spot, and maybe even some pigs, depending on where our farm animals are on the day. If you have any questions, please reach out. We look forward to welcoming you to La'Connor Ridge. Our glamping space is next to a dam and seasonal creek and features an empty 5m bell tent on a rustic wooden deck. There is also space for up to three other tents. A composting toilet is at the site, but there is no water available. A campfire space has been provided in the clearing, with ample room for stargazing. You may be able to see lights from our house in the dark through the trees, but it's a way up the hill on the other side of the creek. Other than that, it's private and hidden in the trees. Campervans / RV's would be possible in good weather. If it's really wet heavy vehicles and two-wheel-drives will struggle to get in and out. But the site is only about 200m from the road.
