Spectacular views in a rural setting with fields, ranges and the magnificent Orara River. The serenity of this amazing relaxing country setting will leave you spell bound. Our location is a relaxing and scenic 20 minute drive to some of the best local beaches on the Mid North Coast of Australia. On our property we have cows and goats and an abundance of wild birdlife.  The property offers a delightful walk to the Orara River, with the opportunity of catching Bass in season, and also a great possibility of catching sight of the odd platypus or two.  Here you will have the opportunity for surfing, swimming, snorkelling, fishing, and just relaxing and absorbing in the outstanding surrounds of this beautiful part of the world.   If you don't feel the desire to cook then it's just 3 minutes down the road to the town of Nana Glen, where the famous Idle Inn Cafe and local 2 Tails Winery are located.A little further up the road, north 13 minutes is the Giant Golden Dog Statue right along side the iconic Golden Dog Hotel, in the town of Glenreagh.   Park your RV or Caravan on our level, concrete slab, just next to the amenities.  We offer spectacular views in a rural setting with fields, ranges and the magnificent Orara River, plus many options to explore the beautiful area. We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and tidy. Rob was very helpful and attentive. Location was easy to find. The shed would be a great way to escape bad weather, bathroom with toilet and shower was just what we needed.

Very easy to find and Rob and Karel were on hand to give us a tour and explain the layout, Loved the big shed with a lovely shower and toilet. Rob hooked us up to power and gave us fresh eggs too. Weather was really good so we could have a good look about. really enjoyed our stay and our dog had a great time too.

Beautiful peaceful spot with access to your own bathroom and undercover area. Walked the dog through the property to explore the creek and river area. The local townships have cafes and bakery. Had access to power and water if needed. Thanks to Rob & Karel for their hospitality

Perfect spot to stay when there was so much rain. The large shed with table tennis and hot showers. Concrete slab so camper trailer didn’t sink into grass. When the sun did come out a beautiful spot and we enjoyed having a camp fire.

We wanted somewhere to stop of the way from Sydney to Brisbane where we could switch off from the world and just relax as a family. Rob’s place was perfect. So peaceful and relaxing! We loved family walks down to the creek and roasting marshmallows on the fire. Thanks Rob for being such a great host and sharing your home with us for the weekend!

This is a beautiful location with many local places to explore and was a great spot to spend a few days. Rob was very friendly and accommodating, providing us with some extra gear. The bathroom was very clean and an excellent help while camping with little babies. One thing worth mentioning for future campers is that the site is situated fairly close to Rob’s home, although there is a line of trees that offer some privacy. This wasn’t very obvious to me from the photos I had seen when booking.

The place was lovely & peaceful, had amazing views all round. The large cement block to park on was a big bonus not to mention, the garage/carport with shower & toilet & games room.

Lovely stay!! Rob and Karel were great hosts and we really enjoyed having the shed with bathroom, table tennis table and darts board. We had a lovely relaxing stay.

Great camp site! Very peaceful and well kept. The site has a large concrete slab to set up on and is located next to a good size shed full of games for the family with the addition of clean and modern amenities. We based ourselves here for almost a week and explored the beautiful countryside and rivers. Rob and Karel were amazing, super friendly and also respected our privacy.

Rob and Karel are magnificent hosts. Very accommodating and helpful to ensure you have everything set up to enjoy your stay. The amenities they provide are more than anyone could ask for. Absolutely gorgeous property just 20 mins from Coffs Harbour. Nana Glen is a beautiful little town with lovely locals. Will definitely stay again Thanks Rob & Karel for creating such a wonderful space. Highly recommend

The facilities were great with a clean bathroom in the shed 🙌 we loved exploring the property, walking to the creek and Orara Glen River. Rob and Carl were excellent hosts who were friendly but also gave us our privacy. A great stay out of the hustle and bustle of a caravan park.

A peaceful getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rod and Karel's place. It is peaceful and quiet - the only thing we heard were the beautiful birds! The amenities are spacious, modern and spotlessly clean, and the shed provided a great space to play table tennis and exercise when the rain set in. Rob and Karel are the nicest people you'll meet! While they always gave us space and respected our privacy, they were also really friendly and we loved our chats with them :) Rob & Karel's is the perfect place if you're looking for a well-equipped, quiet base to explore the north coast. It's just far enough from Coffs Harbour to escape the crowds, but also close enough for easy access to supermarkets, beaches, etc. We loved our time at Rob & Karel's and will definitely be back!

It rained most of the time we were there. When we arrived it was quite miserable, a lot of water laying around and we were concerned as we were staying in tents. No problem for the hosts Rob and Karel, they said we could shack up in their awesome Shed, which was clean, has a Toilet and Shower, we felt like we were glamping. They also have a Table Tennis set in the Shed which gave us endless hours of laughs and fun, we even had a chance to take a short walk with a pause in the rain. Our Staffy also had a great time, he loved staring at the chooks, Goats and Cows. Thank you for a great time and hospitality, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Pristine surroundings and the facilities meant we had to only put up our tent no annex or awning required. The new bathroom was very nice and sitting out on the patio taking in nature was terrific. Rob provided us some of their free range eggs and they were delicious. Throughly recommend.

Kingfisher kamper was easily one of the best Hipcamp s I’ve stayed at. It’s a perfect site for family. The views are stunning the amenities are great, The hosts are friendly and welcoming but respect your privacy. And the surrounding area is beautiful beaches are close and there are plenty of inland areas to explore 10 out of 10 I’ll definitely be going back.

Everything was great. Place is beautiful, and very accomodating in case of rain thanks to the shed. Owners are lovely, had a great time and will be back here surely. If only, i would put the fireplace closer to the main area so it makes it nicer to hang around. But its just a detail, it doesnt spoil the experience at all.

Absolute solitude & tranquillity at Kingfisher Kampers @ Nana Glen. Beautiful views to the mountains. Rob & Karel are the loveliest hosts who made sure we had everything we need. Would highly recommend this great spot.

Staying at Kingfisher Kampers was simply a wonderful experience. The hosts are very welcoming and the facilities were simply fantastic. The shed right next to the level camping site (cement slab that was perfect for our camper-trailer) was fitted out with a hot shower and toilet - even table tennis. Power is available and they even supplied a fan. It’s a perfect spot to explore a beautiful area (creeks, walks etc.) with plenty of small villages that have everything you need (and Coffs Harbour is only 25 minutes minutes away). Highly recommend and would stay there anytime.

Rob was very welcoming apon arrival and made sure i had everything I needed. Such a beautiful location to come and relax for a few days. The facilities were very clean and the whole area is well maintained. There is a little creek to explore behind the house. Highly recommend!

We had a great long weekend camping at kingfisher kampers. It was our first time using hicamps & our trailer. Location is easy to find, thanks to Robs handy snap of the driveway. The shed is a bonus & the bathroom spotlessly clean. Our dog loved the walk down to the river. Great rural location whilst being close enough to villages & towns.

Loved the location, Rob was very pleasant and helpful, even before arriving (lots of flooding on the roads).. Rob provided power and toilet/shower and a large level slab to park on. We loved the little villages near by. Only a short drive to Coffs Habour.

You could not ask for a more peaceful or picturesque place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the beautiful surrounds but our favourite days involved relaxing at the campsite, walking the dogs down to the river and sitting by the campfire. The amenities are amazing and Rob and Karel are very friendly and helpful hosts. We definitely recommend a stay at Kingfisher Kampers.
