We love camping at KCC. It’s usually quiet and close to the trail head. It’s got the basics covered with the BBQ and camp kitchen.

We loved being within close proximity to the town of Katoomba in a quiet location surrounded by trees. The facilities were clean and sufficient although the ‘kitchen’ really needed some attention, not a problem if self contained.

Loved our stay here! Super close to beautiful hikes and stunning lookouts just at the entrance to campsite. Toilet and shower facilities super clean and useable.

Good location- no allocated sites so first in best spot. Very basic kitchen area but BBQ and hot showers.

This campsite is so handy! It’s is on the cliff edge outskirt of town, walking distance to Scenic World. Only a 5 minute walk to multiple amazing lookouts, particularly nice at sunset. High pressured hot showers, a camp kitchen with a fridge, sink, and kettle which made it so much easier to do our dishes. Also a $4 washing machine and dryer with a big clothes line.

It seemed like too many campsites were booked and this made it feel overcrowded. Not much level ground made it difficult to set up/sleep.

Lovely little camp ground. There is a kitchen, bathrooms and facilities are clean. A massive plus point is the close distance to famous attractions. There is no grass for kids to play.

Tucked away but centrally located, no frills but has everything you need. The hot water was out during our stay but they were very responsive and even let me shower at the convention centre while they fixed it.

Easy to find.
The toilets and showers are clean and has hot water.
They have a kitchen for u to use which includes sink, microwave and kettle.
The is also a bbq, we did have to clean it first.
Quiet camp, everyone seemed friendly.
We had a car with a roof tent, the ground is a little uneven in certain places but wasn't a problem for us.
Would recommend to get there early as it isn't very big and get full up quickly

Very central location to Katoomba Town, Scenic Wold and Three Sister. Beautiful lookouts close by. Facilities okay, clean but need updating.
Overall very pleased with the stay and would recommend staying here.

This was the campsite I liked the most during my tour in Australia. It is the perfect spot to visit the lookouts by feet. There is shadow and sun and ok amenities. Nice people who like to camp in a tent or a campervan.

Lack of enough leveled camp sites park the camper. Under pouring rain it was difficult with littleto to no support from the site.
Showers and wash rooms can do some minor renovation work

Easy! That's the word tha describe this place. That's easy to arrive, easy to camp, easy to stay.
Best place to sleep when stay in Katoomba for a weekend.
I missed I could use a charcoal barbecue.

The campground is close to the city center yet in a quiet area. Easy to access, and around the corner of a beautiful (quiet) lookout of the Three Sisters, Eagle Hawk Lookout. Amenities & bbq area work well, and there was enough space to choose where to park our campervan.

Great place, facilties were super clean and showers were clean and beautiful hot water too. Super close for a morning or afternoon walk to the lookout over the blue mountains up the road. Also a few mins from Katoomba town centre which is very convenient if you need the shops at all.
Just make sure you come prepared in winter, etc. Can get very dewy, cold and rainy at the top of the mountain. Other than that, great!

Nice and simple. Not too much going on, however the shower and toilets were better than I expected. The best part was how central it was and so close to town, especially with so little other options nearby.

We arrived on the long weekend 26-28 Jan.
It was pretty busy, so I advise to arrive a bit earlier to find yourself a good spot during public holidays.
The bathrooms were clean and equipped. The place is very quiet and and during good weather, has an amazing sky full of starts above.
Would definitely recommend this place.
