The wildlife sanctuary is 790acres since 1972. 18kms from Bellingen in the heart of Kalang, home to many rare and endangerd animals with abundant bird life and diverse plant species it is one of the most biodiverse places not only in Australia but the world. Our campsite is situated on the Kalang River. Beautiful swimming, bush walking and back hills 4×4. Pit toilet, running water, firewood, fruit trees and friendly cows. Come check out Bellingens best kept secret.Central site plenty of shade, close access to river walking track

We just had three nights camping in a tent at this beautiful location. The area Khan has set out is exceptional. The site was clean and well laid out, plenty of fruit trees, all flat ground, fire pits for every site. The pit toilet was very clean and well maintained. Birds were abundant and they kept us entertained with their antics. There is a beautiful creek for swimming. Kahn is a great host, he was very friendly and checked that everything was going well for us. Would highly recommend this site for a peaceful getaway. We can’t wait to get some time off to go back.

We loved it here! Crystal clear swimming creek, adequate space between camps so privacy assured, fruit trees a plenty and ripe for the picking, firewood provided and the sawdust toilet was clean which was a bonus. Planned one night, stayed for two! Absolutely no phone service around, which I loved but others might struggle with! Thanks for an awesome stay😊

What a spectacular campsite located in a beautiful part of the world! Beautiful flat ground to set up and excellent amenities, with plenty of space for the whole family and a great variety of wildlife to see. The river is absolutely stunning too, with plenty of places to explore. We only wish we had more time. Kahn is a fantastic host as well, coming down to meet us and ensuring we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone visiting the area. Thank you so much Kahn, we will be back again.

Stunning locating deep in the Beautiful location deep in the Kalang Valley. Crystal clear river, plenty of shade and very quiet and relaxing.
