This Hipcamp honestly took our breath away. The view alone is incredible, and the beautiful white flowers around the property made the whole place feel extra special the moment we arrived.
It was really easy to find and access, and the location itself was peaceful and quiet — exactly what we were hoping for. When we pulled in, we saw a little kid feeding the horses and it was honestly the cutest, most wholesome welcome ever.
The horses were gorgeous, and the amenities were spotless. The hot shower was perfect, and having a laundry available felt like such a luxury while camping.
Our dog had the best time exploring the space, and we’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a calm, scenic getaway. Would absolutely stay again.

Annabelle and Dave were just wonderful hosts on their property, and this place was absolute paradise, parked on top of the mountain with full amenities, water power and a five star resort bathroom absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend.

We recently stayed at Kai Iwi Estate in Glencoe, just a short 15 min drive south of Glen Innes, and it was nothing short of magical. Perched on top of a scenic hill, the campsite offered breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The flat, level grassy area beside the shed was perfect for setting up our 22foot van, complete with access to power and potable water. The modern ensuite facilities were a standout immaculately clean with a hot shower, toilet, washing machine, and large clothesline, making our stay incredibly comfortable. For just $5 a day we had access to firewood, and the large fire pit. Our dogs had the time of their lives, exploring the open spaces and making friends with the curious friendly horses that often came to the fence for a pat. Annabelle is friendly and welcoming host, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Her hospitality added a personal touch that made our stay even more special.
Thank you, Annabelle, for sharing your beautiful farm with us. We loved every moment and are already looking forward to our next visit.

If I could give it 6 stars I would! Had the most amazing experience, the host was super helpful and able to accommodate a last minute change in dates due to car trouble. The bathroom was great, the stars were amazing, and my dog and I had the best time.

Nice big space to choose from. Overall it was a nice stay, although when we got there another group had the only portable fire pit so I would recommend bringing your own.

What an absolutely beautiful place to camp. Perched on top of a hill you feel like you are king of the castle. The scenery is spectacular, the facilities are modern and very clean and the camp site is spacious, flat and well maintained. The wood was plentiful.

My son and I loved our trip to Kai Iwi Estate. Annabelle and Dave were extremely accommodating, and we felt extremely welcomed. The site itself was fantastic, my son had plenty of space to kick his footy around.
The site was flat too, so we could set up our swag anywhere and we also had access to a fire pit, which we definitely needed because it gets extremely cold there.
Fire wood is available, they ask for $5 per night for the wood. I happily paid a bit more. The site also has a toilet, washing machine, clothes line and a shower. There's also a kettle too.
This site was a great weekend camp spot and I'll definitely be going back.

Up the top and surrounded by superb country valley views, Annabelle and caretaker Dave host a wonderful camping experience. Horses, friendly dogs, camp fire and beautiful amenities including shower, toilet and a washing machine exceeded expectations. Great value for money and a pleasure all round.

I loved camping here. There was plenty of room in the area set aside for camping. It was windy but I had expected that from reading previous reviews before booking so wasn't an issue for me. The facilities were great and clean. The view was great. It was close to Glen Innes and surrounding areas which made it a great base to go out from. I also loved the birdlife that was there.

Great location, easy to get to and lovely mown grass. We only stayed one night and had a bit of rain and wind but Dave set us up with some firewood so we could cook dinner. We felt like we were a million miles away from anyone. The cherry on top was the toilet and shower! Plus you can use the power and water if you need to. We loved it!

Nice, well kept and peaceful campground with a beautiful outlook. Dave was super helpful. He dropped off complimentary firewood to our site and also helped us with a repair on the awning before we left. The amenities were fabulous! We also enjoyed meeting the resident dogs Elvis and Truffles. The place can get windy so make sure to check the weather forecast and bring tie down ropes.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Kai Iwi Estate during our New England high country road trip. Annabelle and Dave were incredibly easygoing hosts and it was a privilage to experience the tranquility of this property. The camp area is level and well-kept, with a stunning modern bathroom within a few meters. The driveway comes up quickly on a slight bend, so keep an eye on Google Maps as you approach. Highly recommend if you’re in the Glen Innes area.

I can’t recommend this campsite enough! Amazing hosts. Dave came around every arvo and made sure we had enough firewood and Annabelle spoilt us Easter Sunday with yummy fresh cooked hot cross buns! The amenities were amazing and having power and hot and cold fresh rainwater was a bonus! Nice and quiet location with plenty of room and level ground for our tent. The stars at night were gorgeous and loved being able to say hello to the horses. Only 15 minutes to Glen Innes if you need the shops. Will definitely be back!!

My friend & I just got home from our 2 night stay on this beautiful property. The bathroom was fantastic and made camping just a little more comfortable. The facilities, mowed camping area and entire farm were clean and well maintained. The views were magnificent with stars filling the night sky. Camp is surrounded by eucalyptus, lush paddock and the farms animals. I am a bird lover and truly was overjoyed to have many species of bird visit throughout the day including: a kookaburra, magpies, galahs, cockatoos, king parrots and a wonderful family of eastern AND crimson rosellas. I had never seen an eastern rosella in person let alone a flock of them plus crimson rosellas too!
Annabelle was lovely and welcoming as well as the caretaker who was around here and there. They had put aside wood for a fire plus allowed us to use their fire pit as I’d forgotten mine!
The only thing I’d mention, if you want peace without hearing road traffic or seeing trucks etc. this is not the place. Please don’t get me wrong, it’s peaceful and I really loved it but you can and will hear some noise from the roads (nothing too dramatic though)!
Thank you to Annabelle and her team for the experience! We loved every second and felt safe, comfortable and relaxed on your property.
