Nice spot, lovely big open area for camping. Easy access to estuary for fishing.
We had wet weather, would’ve been perfect in sun!
Bill was a great host!!
Perhaps gravel on the access road to make it more accessible in wet weather.

Well kept grounds, will ample room to spread out along the tree line. Easy enough to find some space when others are camping.

We had a great trip at Bill’s place. We had plenty of space even with other campers around we didn’t feel over crowded. Access down to the river to fish and get the kayaks in. We would definitely stay again the next time we get up to south west rocks.

Such a beautiful grassy spot to camp with trees for shade and along the river that you can kayak along easily. Bill is a great host, super friendly and helpful with anything that could make our stay more enjoyable! Thanks for having us, we loved it!

Our stay at Bills property was great. Sites were grassy and well maintained, as well as being right on the river fishing and catching mud crabs. With South West Rocks less than 5 minutes away, the location was fantastic. Bills hospitality was also second to none. We will be back.

Bill was awesome to deal with, he’s situated on a beautiful piece of land with a few different options of where you want to camp.
We were able to get our 19ft caravan in with ease even after some wet weather. Bill even took our kids for a spin on his buggy.
Great price, plenty of room and so close to everything. Definitely will go again.

Nice property and well maintained. There is the main road into town just on the other side of the creek so it can be a bit noisy at times but it did quiet down at night.

We had a great stay with Bill at his place in Jerseyville. We travelled with our 19ft caravan and finding and accessing the property was easy. The camping area is very large and even with a number of other vans staying there we had plenty of space.
We stayed over the Christmas / New Year period so South West Rocks and other local towns were very busy. Staying here was a perfect way to access the local beaches (5 minute drive to South West Rocks) while also being able to get away from the crowds.
The kids had plenty of space to play and run free which made the stay relaxing. The river access was easy, although our kids were too young to take advantage of this.
The camping grounds are flat and very well maintained.
Thanks for a great stay - already looking at booking again next year!

Jerseyville campsite was a tremendous spot to stay to explore the beautiful coastland around this area. Very close to South West Rocks, Trial Bay etc ... and a relaxing day trip to Scotts Head and Hat Head which are gorgeous beaches. Bill was very accomodating and welcoming ... and we borrowed his crab pots and caught 2 mud crabs nearby to the campsite. His camping paddock which adjoins the water is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing stay,

Greeted by Bill on arrival found a nice flat site with good access to the river as we have an inflatable boat . Fantastic spot to just relax or venture into south west rocks/Hat Head .Caught mud crabs and a flatty .Met the border collies and a tonne of chickens Spent 1 week here but could have stayed longer was new years as well but not overly busy

Hipcamp Jerseyville is a gem! Even with the rain, the experience was fantastic. The site offers plenty of space on lush green grass right by the serene Spencer Creek, making it a peaceful and picturesque getaway. Check-in was seamless, and the friendly border collies that greeted us added a warm, welcoming touch. The hundreds of chickens were an unexpected delight—watching them scurry around every time we drove by was endlessly entertaining. It’s a unique and charming spot that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing escape!

There is enough room between sites that you aren’t crowded or running into anyone else.

Bill’s camp is 5 min drive into SWR, close and convenient, opposite the fisherman’s cooperative, a great place away from the stress of SWR during Christmas. The main road into town runs along the camp boundary so there is some road noise but this basically stops at night, if your at the beach during the day, like us, it’s not an issue. Great stop, if you need to be near SWR this is the place. Thanks Bill.

This is an awesome spot literally 5min drive from the centre of South West Rocks. If you want to get away from the crowds, do some fishing in the estuary and are self sufficient this is the spot.
