"Jalum" is a fifty acre property situated between the Gold Coast and Byron Bay and ten minutes from the coast. There are many activities available inc. horseback riding, fishing, bush walking etc. There is a professional riding school which offers tuition for children and adults also trail and beach rides .. Jalum has been a working fish farm (Silver Perch) and the many dams offer good fishing. Home grown fruit, vegetables, herbs and eggs are available (Chemical free) Just a kilometre from the old Mooball trainline! Walk the line and stay at our lovely campsite for the night. We acknowledge and give respect for the traditional owners past, present and future, of the Bunjalum nation.

"JALUM" FARM
Karen was very welcoming, but I feel this camp is more suited to tents and small campers/motorhomes. The gate to drive in was extremely tight for our Hilux and 15ft hybrid van. Thankfully, the horse lady Georgia saw us and opened up the timber double gate (that looked like a fence) and we drove in that way. Driving out was easier through the actual gate as we were lined up better. The horses and Karens dog, Bunny, all came to visit us during our stay. It didn't bother me, but if you don't like horse poo around your camp, Jalum Farm is not for you.

Great Spot to Stay
We had a great stay at Julam! Karen was a great host, very welcoming and made us feel at home. The facilities are great and you can tell the place has a lot of love put into it. We picked a nice spot near one of the dams, and it was awesome waking up and seeing all the horses just outside our door at sunrise. We went for a walk to the top of the hill and the view of the of the land all the way to the ocean was majestic. Thanks Karen and the aninals for hosting us!

Great vibes!!
Karen have such an amazing place and chilling vibes! She was very helpful since the first contact, given the fact it was my first time using hipcamp. She prepared a big tent and firewoods, amenities were clean and the hole area very neat! Was wonderful to wake up with the horses next to us and the sounds of birds! I’m really impressed with the gardens and flowers every where! Each corner is special with many details! Now I want to bring my relatives as well! Also have to mention she helped us with jumpstart our car after a flat battery! Amazing place! Wish we had more time to spend there!! We definitely recommend and want to come back soon! Thanks Karen for such lovely vibes!

We loved our stay at Karen’s property! She was so lovely, cool and attentive, making sure we had firewood, fresh veges and herbs and just all round good vibes. Such a gorgeous property! The horses are so sweet and the alpaca is hilarious!! Thanks for your hospitality Karen and all the best to you and your family x
